Took a Rhino and a Grizzly out the other day at our local Yamaha dealer. Originally thought I would want a side by side, but the difference between the two is just tremendous (from my perspective). The side x side just seemed kind of like a dog compared to the Grizzly. There's this lag that I don't like. Also it made a lot more noise like creaking plastic and general parts squeaking around in the cab over the bumpy terrain. On the other hand, the Griz just blew me away.....so agile and fast, with instant throttle response and a much more cushy ride. No parts moved or made any loose sounds. It's a very smooth and refined machine. I also like the fact that I can use my legs to absorb shocks in tandem with the suspension on an ATV, not just pounding around in a seat. I'm certain there are side x side qualities that I did not experience / realize, but once I hit the trail it didn't take but 60 seconds for me to rule out the Rhino. No offense here to the multitude of Rhino and other side x side loving folks. They are very cool and I'm sure they have their place for a lot of people considering how many they sell.

I'll get a little dump trailer and a set of tracks for winter plowing and have some serious utility / fun on an ATV.
