Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 2.0C and it's presently 8.3C, high-overcast & calm. Cross-fingers for rain this evening & throughout the weekend to Tuesday, according to the Official weatherguessers.

Tip run and Doctor appointment accomplished yesterday. He's added a new script to knock the glucose numbers down BUT warned me to keep some jelly beans handy in case I 'crash'. I took the first tablet this morning with breakie, so I'll pretty much stay home today and 'monitor' the situation. She'll be right.

That's about it, take care all.

Coffee is brewing. 55° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 75° with mostly cloudy skies. .19" rain yesterday. House is clean and laundry is finished except for folding and putting away. Will get that done before Grocery shopping today. Then will get started on grass cutting.
Now have 4 Sandhill Cranes coming by to help with cleanup.

Good morning, the low is 46 and going to a high of 77°F. Wind calm. Sunny and smokey.

Today might be a good day to put up the new roof on the tractor shelter. No wind to speak of. I'll see if Junior wants to do it today. He is the one that does all the bull work. I just hold this or hold that.

Ron, the cleaning crew is back. Too bad they are 'protected'.

Have a safe day all

63 and a little ground fog, going to 85, and another tick up of the humidity level.

Buppies, that's scary about Holly taking off. You might need a security system with a code to get out through the doors.

Grass was so wet from dew yesterday, decided to use the cool morning for a hike and swim for Della. On the trail, saw the Portuguese Water Dog, Kai, so had some good play time. Then split and stacked my last load of firewood. Should have quit after that, but got the big 60V battery out for the string trimmer and went at it. No energy left.

good morning all
66 going up to 87 today, some showers possible tonight
I kind of overdid it a bit last two days, having problems holding a cup
of coffee, right arm very sore. Guess I'd better chill out today

Ron, those cranes are beautiful
at least they aren't storks bringing babies... ;)

Bill, sounds like a good plan, be the supervisor

hope you all have a nice day.

good morning, 65 going to 82 rain in FC for later and tomorrow

Stacked the last bucket load of firewood. Mowed the tall grass down in the meadow around tree plantings. Lots of deer springing up and fortunately missed the tiny newborn Bambi that the mother had hid in the grass

Picked up a branch that I did not spot that lodged above the mower deck and caused a burning smell. Had to go back to get tools to cut it out

Fire alarm went off. Come to find out I am supposed to vacuum or blow it out with compressed air to keep the sensors clean. Back working as normal. They have 10 year life batteries and detect fire as well as CO. Cleaning is to be yearly and they are just one year out since installation

Step count for the last month shows 7900 average daily steps. Not really trying to get the steps in except the daily walking Cody and trips to barn etc

Good morning TBN!!
59 going up to near 90 with isolated Tstorms. Summer pattern.

Didn't post yesterday. We had Spectrum fiber installed so was dealing with that. So far I really like fiber!!
Wed I wrestled, push and pulled all day but I got it...on my own too. My NH is a work horse!! I ended up putting the ends I cut out from the new tank to slide on. Hardest part was the crushed side stayed the way it shows and it was a little wider the the space I had to pull it through. Sometimes I just take "you can't do that" as a challenge to be conquered! I also learned my 3 pt has more lifting power the the FEL. I could pick up the end just enough to slide a chunk of steel under the front lip. But the 3 pt picked it up it's full range. I did snap a bar on the 3pt assembly and may have to post again later to find out what it is called. Two steel straps that connect out side of the lift and tilt hyd. Research coming.

Tank out.jpg

Definitely the biggest thing I have ever tackled. Now the plan is to cut it up and recycle or scrap most. I will take one of the longer sides to make a wall as a "guide" for the the river to follow.

And now it's time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day
