Good Morning!!!! 43F @ 8:30AM. Rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High near 55F. SSE winds shifting to WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%.
Happy belated birthday, Drew. Here's a present for you: Go to YouTube and type in the make and model number of the broken washer, and then "water level repair", and you'll very likely get a video of how to fix it. Do the same on Google, but change "repair" to "sensor", and add "part number". You should get a list of the water level sensor part number. Click the "Shop" option at the top of the page of search results to find out where to purchase the sensor and the price.
Thanks for the moon shot, Ron. I saw the full moon just after sunset, but by midnight it was cloudy, so didn't bother getting up.
Updated the OS on the main laptop yesterday after making a backup. One of the apps that quit working was iPhoto, replaced with the Photo app. I tried importing the photos from the old library, but they would have all gone into one directory, losing all the albums. All of the photos are on the iPhone, so I'll look into importing them from that today.
Still haven't managed to get Weather Underground to accept the weather station feed at the new house. Grrrr...
Made and froze a big batch of wild rice, and a big pot of marinara sauce using a long frozen chunk of ham and some ground turkey. Came out pretty tasty, so it'll also get bagged and frozen today. Tried smoking a rack of baby backs on the grill, but it wouldn't get hot enough. It did get hot enough to burn the ribs, though.
Had a fellow come by to look at the 7x16 box trailer, but the rear door opening wasn't tall enough for his side-by-side. The dimensions of the door were in the ad, so I don't know why he bothered.
Realtor has a photographer coming to the old house Tuesday. They'll do stills, videos, and drone video both inside and out. Then they'll assemble an overhead view of the interior that can be clicked to see 360° views from many points inside the home. I found them very helpful while I was shopping for this place. I just hope the weather cooperates, as it looks like were in for a wet spell for the next few days up there.
TGIF!
