Good Late Morning,
Ken, thanks for the humor my friend 😉
Scott, you deserve two green beers!
I'm happy to read anything you write
Drew, I do believe the green beers are in my future, although Kathleen is the only Irishmen in the house.
For the record, I don’t think much of what I say is that important. And for the record, I had to go back and edit out the exclamation points from this post. Talk about short memory span. 😉😂

Good Morning!!!! 43F @ 8:30AM. Rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High near 55F. SSE winds shifting to WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%.

Happy belated birthday, Drew. Here's a present for you: Go to YouTube and type in the make and model number of the broken washer, and then "water level repair", and you'll very likely get a video of how to fix it. Do the same on Google, but change "repair" to "sensor", and add "part number". You should get a list of the water level sensor part number. Click the "Shop" option at the top of the page of search results to find out where to purchase the sensor and the price.

Thanks for the moon shot, Ron. I saw the full moon just after sunset, but by midnight it was cloudy, so didn't bother getting up.

Updated the OS on the main laptop yesterday after making a backup. One of the apps that quit working was iPhoto, replaced with the Photo app. I tried importing the photos from the old library, but they would have all gone into one directory, losing all the albums. All of the photos are on the iPhone, so I'll look into importing them from that today.

Still haven't managed to get Weather Underground to accept the weather station feed at the new house. Grrrr...

Made and froze a big batch of wild rice, and a big pot of marinara sauce using a long frozen chunk of ham and some ground turkey. Came out pretty tasty, so it'll also get bagged and frozen today. Tried smoking a rack of baby backs on the grill, but it wouldn't get hot enough. It did get hot enough to burn the ribs, though.

Had a fellow come by to look at the 7x16 box trailer, but the rear door opening wasn't tall enough for his side-by-side. The dimensions of the door were in the ad, so I don't know why he bothered.

Realtor has a photographer coming to the old house Tuesday. They'll do stills, videos, and drone video both inside and out. Then they'll assemble an overhead view of the interior that can be clicked to see 360° views from many points inside the home. I found them very helpful while I was shopping for this place. I just hope the weather cooperates, as it looks like were in for a wet spell for the next few days up there.

TGIF!

Good Afternoon
33° this morning 57° now. Beautiful day here in PA.

Finished up in the Simulator just before 7pm central time, and headed right to the plane to fly home. My check ride was the last of the 4 of us. We had a smooth ride, about 2:30 from Wichita to Philadelphia, then an hour drive home.
Here is what the moon looked like from 45,000 feet.

Zoe met me at the door a little after midnight and gave me a very enthusiastic greeting. It felt good to get into my own bed even if Zoe followed me and cleaned my ears. Somehow Erica slept through it all.

Just doing small chores and catching up today, not very ambitious, and kind of lethargic. But- I am going to play music tonight.

Hopefully I’ll get a good nights sleep tonight and feel more rested tomorrow.

Good Morning Again,
It has been brought to you by attention that I have been using exclamation points at the ends of my sentences instead of a period.
I apologize to anyone who may have been offended by this. I did this not really knowing that I’m even doing it. So sorry for my poor writing style.

Have a great day 😃
Yup Iam offended :cautious: but couple top end cigars all forgiving. :) ;)

I got half of the big pile of snow moved from the high side of the driveway (high side directly in front of the house) to the low side. Spread some ashes around to aid in the melt.

scotty, I don't care what kind of punctuation you use in your paragraphs, I will still read it.

Good Afternoon Bill,
scotty, I don't care what kind of punctuation you use in your paragraphs, I will still read it.
Thanks, it was just some crazy habit that I picked up somewhere .

Changed the cabin filter in my 2017 Ford F-150 this afternoon . Had to take the glove box out and another panel behind that to get to the filter compartment. I have never changed it in just over 8 years, kind of dirty but not terrible. The only thing that hurt was paying $25 for the new filter. ;) :)

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 15.1C and it's presently 17.2C, overcast & calm. Yeah, it's the early stage of Autumn so the weather/temperatures are 'all over the shop'. Rain predicted for tomorrow.

Plumber contacted yesterday and we met-up to inspect the guttering job for the Church = the entire 'side' needs to be replaced. He'll get back to me about the time frame. On the way back from that meeting I managed to get a 'tip' run in.

The "Mad Agisting Horse Woman" + Daughter have taken their horses away for an overnight 'outing'... so, due to tomorrow's rain, I'll get some 'tractor fun' in this arvo setting up Paddock #4 & cleaning up/chain-harrowing Paddock #3 for when they return.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening all. 62ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, windy. Winds 30-50 mph, variable cloudy sky, bad dust in afternoon from wind, and high temp was 80ºF. Tomorrow will be closer to normal temps. Made coffee to start day, got bike ride started early to miss as much wind as possible, wind penalty still 1.5 miles, "normal" would be .3 mile or less. Sucked up some leaves, fewer leaves showed later. Got some office work done, got nap, Dinner at stepdaughter's house. There has been a bit of a spat on new VFD Board members not sure what the fallout will be.

Good morning, the low is 42 and going to a high of 54°F. Wind E 13 mph. Rain and possible T-showers on the way.
Possible 1/3". That'll help cut the snow off.Going to get a little breezy after midnight. 18 mph SE winds gusting to 30 mph.

I have water running through my culvert. This is a good thing. 30 years ago we had just bought this place and the culvert was only a 8" diameter one with a bad joint in the middle. It froze. I took one of my sump pumps and put it in the upstream side of the culvert and then pumped water over to the low side until I melted all the ice. The water level went down overnight. That summer I got me a 24" culvert and hired a contractor to put it in. Haven't had any problems with frozen culverts since. The one at the road I could care less about. Not mine, belongs to the Township.

I will work my tractor in the rain but NOT in T-storms. I've got chains on it.

Ron, your tree rat looks good sunning itself.

Have a safe day all

Good morning,
28° now partly cloudy highs around 60° today winds S 5-10 mph.

Fiddled with the truck yesterday, apparently my nephew has my code reader still 🤬. Cleaned maf sensor and air filter, disconnected battery to clear engine light and seems to run okay. Vacuumed acorns and other debris out of engine compartment and took a run out on the highway no errors on the dash, we shall see lol.

Usual Saturday dump run and not sure what else for today.

Enjoy your day everyone
