Nothing much of import accomplished yesterday.

Every time I’d head for the tractor the sky would leak again, just enough to deter me. I don’t like mowing slippery wet grass. Maybe today. No complaints though as we really need the rain.

Have to make a PO run.

It s pouring rain. With no roof on the tractor shed right now (It went into self destruct at the beginning of winter), I have no plans on getting soaking wet in these temperatures.

Drew, I love that feature on my ipad/iphone. Thought it a bit annoying at first but now find myself really enjoying that trip down memory lane. With just under 31k in the library, lots of material. I think both Sophie and I are partial to the ones with the furry kids.

Trip to dentist this morning for a cleaning. Old dentist retired and sold the practice to one of his former students.
Then trip to Sams Club for a few things, but still over $100. I'm really liking Sams over Costco for most things, just so much easier and less people. Raining hard when I came out. Raining hard now, could almost take a nap with the sound of it on the skylight.
Got my costco CC rebate yesterday, over $300.
Really enjoyed last nights speech.

Truly a product of a childhood with JC Whitney.
that engine would always run better with a chrome muffler.

Drew,without a doubt that mower will run faster and smoother with that chrome extension!

Walgreens did not have my script ready, even though they told me it would be ready on Monday for a Wednesday morning pickup !
I walked out and called my PC , so let’s see how many more days this will take !

Then went to NAPA to pick up a couple of things for the tractor ! Hope to do oil and filter change this weekend!

Skies are getting darker so I’m glad I got my walk in this morning !

Lots of rain last night wind blew fiercely cushions under front porch wet. Rain gauge stuck so no accurate reading.

Wife ended up in Rocky Mount police picked her took her to lunch cannot go inside went up on hill she left have no idea where she is. Waiting on call

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.7C and it's presently 17.8C, overcast [no rain] & fairly calm... for the moment.

Not much 'on' for today that I can think of, however stuff always needs doing.

33°F and a rain/snow mix this morning, stayed around that temp all day. The mix turned to plain old snow, which fell (blew, really) all day yet left no sign it ever happened. Wind was gusting around 40mph much of the day. Supposed to hit 60° Friday.

I have mixed emotions about the "On This Day" memories thing. Sometimes it's stuff I'd rather not relive. Most of the time, it's "I can't believe it's been XX years already."

I had a couple of Volkswagen Beetles in my younger days, Drew. The JC Whitney VW specialty catalog got a lot of attention from me in my teens and 20s.
