I’m all the time saying, wow, it’s been that long. But it’s even worse when I see clothes I still have.

Good evening all. 39ºFfor the start, mostly clear sky, windy. Strong wind early then light wind after sunset, sky stayed mostly clear and high temp was 59ºF. Made coffee to start day, Men's Meeting, breakfast, organize day, Trip to town for lunch, groceries, and talk with State Farm about drive safe program changes. Didn't like what I was told so dropped out. Still need replacement rain gauge. Tried to nap but was on computer too long to get good one . Group did not meet for dinner so went alone.
NHBX didn't look like an outside day, hope it was good.
Ron nice rain amount. Hope you get laundry folded, and got a nap today. Nice pic.
RBC hope you survive the snow.

Bill sorry about the ribs getting to tough to eat. I do like my BBQ

Don sounds like you had the same wind I had. Sorry the surface bots trapped at one end, bottom bot had to emptied so often. Glad not much was blown away since so much was blown multiple gardens away.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 24° with light snow and wind. Heading to 34° with continued wind and snow throughout the day. Weather turned out much better than forecast yesterday. Did get another .16" of rain in evening. I did get laundry put away. Ice melted on garden pond to the point where I can see the Gold Fish in their safe spot in pond. Got tools collected for roofing project next week. Put camera bird feeder up. APP is a little of a trip to get working. But sure it will get easier after I use it more. Grocery shopping today. Then see what weather allows me to do outside.

a warm 50degrees out now, high of day
what a lot of rain...1.68 inches, pretty sure Lake Drew will now offer enough depth
for the early boaters...

at approx 7 to1 ratio, that's a lot of snow up North.

no plans for today other than getting crown installed at noon, hope this one fits better.

I was told I could get 5 percent off if I took a senior/safe driving course; a friend took it, said it was boring but not hard.
I'm happy with that and plan on doing it.
less happy if I know I'm being electronically monitored, but I think most cars today have some of that going on anyway.

honestly I live a pretty boring life. Not sure what monitoring it would do; don't speed much, stop at stop signs totally and don't drink.
am curious what State Farm wanted.
I wonder if Tesla insurance is cheaper since those cars seem to record everything.

I found it interesting and worrisome that last Uber driver I got, a young guy, said he had not taken out the insurance from
Uber, which I thought was mandatory. Your car insurance instantly voids if you drive for livery. I asked him if he got a good deal from his
insurance company and all I got was a mumble about trying to make a living here.
Well....that means he's driving without insurance, not very smart.

Good morning TBN!!
A very windy 34 this morning with highs of only low 50s with winds continuing most of the day. Should be sunny though. We dodged a bullet yesterday. Only got .44" of rain and just breezy for most of the day. West and East had it much worse and tornado touched down in Union County.
Mostly rearranged in the garage and puttered all day.
Probably more of the same today.

Time for a second cup and get started on the day.

Between warmer winds and rain hoping snow would have settle more...still have today,loss power early morning for 3 hours.

Plans for today...8 hours at part store afterwards not sure yet.

I went backpacking on the Appalachian Trail for a couple of days...continuing my section hikes to complete all the trail in Virginia, about 550 miles. I have a long way to go, having only done 325 miles, but most of that was done both north and south, so probably clocked 600 miles total. Only met up with one other AT hiker...he was hiking southbound (SOBO) from Maine to Georgia...real nice 20-something "kid" from Tennessee.

Yes. Already returned and spent! Lol! I got lucky I think, by going thru a different company they did the return. New lathe ordered and pics will be coming when I get it.

Probably play in the shop today after a few chores. Have some projects going. Wife will be off doing numerous errands for her parents and us.

Yesterdays dentist visit was uneventful. Just the way I like it!

Nothing much else going on till spring gets here.
