Morning all, 27 going to 53 and sunny.
Spent most of yesterday in Philly, sons band played at Craft Hall.

Older shore factory on the Delaware, surrounded now by apartments being built. HAd to be a good 6-7 massive ones.
Also next to rivers Casino. Looks like most of the old factories on that area have been knocked down. Craft Hall is massive. Kitchen alone is much bigger than my house.

Talked to my Dad, completely forgot I asked him to find the dates for his trip. Has no idea when it is or to where :-( Been asking him every week for a month.

Did get to buck some small fallen Ash with the pole saw. Many more of those to go along the road and lawn area. Most 15-30 feet tall and less than 10" across at the base. So easy to do with pole saw. It's just so many of them.

Ron - great picture, mine looks look a blurry dinner plate. Also did not get up at 3am, good work.

Be well,

Good Morning!!!! 41F @ 5:45AM. Sun and clouds mixed. High 61F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph. Higher wind gusts possible.
Rained on and off pretty much all weekend, with some sunny patches mixed in. Got in a couple short hikes with the pooch and her owner, and tackled the lawnmower drive on the pickup tailgate. Not as simple as the youTube video showed, but still got it done. Nice to have all the tools for the job on hand for a change. But now only a small tool box of junky tools will be up north; more encouragement to finish packing and fixing.

Too much ice and snow still left to be Spring...

Thought we'd go for a short walk to the neighborhood record store, and check out a Mexican restaurant in the same strip mall. Came home with a couple dozen CDs, half of them gifts for buying the first dozen. Mexican food was pretty bland, strange considering most people in the restaurant, including the staff, were speaking Spanish.

More unpacking today, and one little job on the mower to finish it off.

Moon was shining through the skylight this morning, but not bright enough to light up the livingroom. Just a bright rectangle shining on the carpet.

Hope everyone's week gets a great start!

Chilly and frosty this morning. Started a clean backup on a new portable drive of the pictures on my laptop. 128k pictures, says it will take over a day. Can’t wait that long, want to scan the old pictures my cousin gave me. Maybe I’ll use my old laptop to scan. 1.2k done, now it says 2 days. 😂

When I put a new larger "hard drive" Crucial T500 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD in my laptop I did a full copy of the old 256 mb to a usb drive it took almost 6 hours, when I did the "disk copy" for the new drive using a SSD external housing to a usb port the new drive was so much faster that the whole copy only took two hours. So 6 hours on my fastest usb port to a usb drive comparing the same usb port to the new SSD drive it went from almost 6 hrs down to just 2 hours. So your external drive speed can be very critical.

66°F and no rain

Got a good start on major office clean up. Don’t think of myself as a hoarder but I can be slow to throw stuff away. A big bag of trash, old documents shredded, big box of books for donation to Give n Take at the transfer station. That bookcase wall will require more attention today as I only got about half done First down to the bones clean out since built in 2008.

No Happy Hour today, postponed until Thursday .

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
