Good evening all. 62F for the start, calm wind, mostly clear sky. Sky stayed mostly clear, wind became somewhat brisk, and high temp was 87F. Worked on car shopping this morning, then puttered with wood pile got the iron stand on bricks now, and started restacking wood. This afternoon was bike ride and nap. No boat ride today so no pics.

Fish are active so should get some fishing in soon.
Drew not convinced kale is good for bread

The teeth are so small on the blades we were using i had to run my finder down to feel which direction they were facing. I suspect the number of teeth would be proportional to the thickness of the wood, but if you can't see the teeth who would be counting?

Good morning, no need to screw up my eyes to see out this morning, the sun is obscured by clouds which have brought with them a light rain.

Maybe the rain will be over by the afternoon, hope so as we are off to visit a garden that is opening for a few hours as part of the National Garden Scheme. The scheme raises money for community nursing charities by charging a small amount to look around someone's private garden, which tend to be large and exceptionally well looked after. My wife enjoys the plants, while the highlight for me is usually the home made cakes

David, that breakthrough must be so satisfying :thumbsup:

My knee is not 100%, but it is a lot better

nice dinner out last night, ear started to bother me as room got busier, just a loud roar in background, it was time to leave anyway.
Lady is nice but not enough in common. At least a new friend.

kale bread was good, not great. Cleaning ladies all scarfed down their piece and all said good but they were probably
just being nice. I'm taking a third of the loaf to the food pantry this morning for the lady who sent me the recipe.
Problem is poor folk don't have plain greek yogurt in their fridge.
Difficult trying to deal with nutrition issues when the number one go to flavoring is ketchup. Sigh.
