I don't know, have not heard of that. There is a hand held remote that controls speed upper bend and lower bend and instant shutoff.

The home Physical Therapist just left she said I was miles ahead. the goal for the first 2 weeks was to reach 90˚ bend I'm at 103˚bend the day after surgery.

She told me to slow down because moving too fast sometime increases swelling and I might degrees. After 6 in home visits I have a month of out patient PT and the goal there is to reach a 120˚ bend.

The surgical site looks good, no discoloring very little blood around the 40 staples.
She said I'll probably be able to start using the 3 wheeled walker in a week.

I did notice two extra cuts 1"long about 8" above and below the surgical site, she said these were robot access holes. I tried to look at a robot knee surgery on YouTube but could not, it was too distressing. Anyone thinking of knee replacement surgery DO NOT Watch a YouTube.
