Some books have no place in public school libraries. Plenty of videos of parents getting thrown out of school board meetings for reading vile, disgusting books that are in school libraries. I don’t want my kids reading **** in school books.

Ron, this is what we use around the farm for rodent control. We load up the trap with chunks and set them out in likely places. Works great and available at farm supply placesView attachment 773791

We use the same thing here with good result. Sometimes other brands from TSC. It seems important to change the “flavors” periodically.

Good question Drew. Only way I see it could be if it somehow caused some sort of distortion (twisting) while in motion. Mounting is at the 4 corners. The leakage is in the finned area. Was hoping just a loose connection, but not.

I had one of the fittings split on my CK30 oil cooler. When I went to fit the new one it was obvious there was too much strain on one of the solid pipes. I had to reposition the pipe so it sat in the fitting correcly before tightening it. It had about a 1" gap so there had been a lot of strain on it.

Another long day, to make tomorrow shorter.
Almost another sideswipe on the interstate. Why can’t people stay in their lane? Wife had to detour because of wreck today had road shut down.

Kittys like the warm dryer when it runs.

Lot of coughing at Bible study last night. I left immediately after. Boy was it foggy last night, hard to see driving.

My boss is now out all week and Monday. Then he’s out 2 weeks at Christmas, so I will only see him maybe 2-3 more days next week, before the end of the year.

15, but who’s counting.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low was 4C (it's supposed to be Summer, isn't it?) and it's presently 18C, but with a breezy wind-chill. I'm getting tired of this wind. Mostly cloudy with no rain in the gauge.

Weed spraying and front paddock/equine arena mowing accomplished. Later on the "Mad Horse Woman"'s friend arrived with her Morgan horse, which we put into Paddock #2 so that he could 'introduce' himself to the other horses. In a day or so we'll let him into the neighbour's paddock to be with the MHW's TB for the Summer.

I did get an impromptu call from my "wine club" who noted that my BD is this month = A$30 discount... short story is that I bought a couple of cases as I'll have a couple of guests here over the holidays.

I'll get up to something today, I just don't know exactly what it will be.

Take care all.

the deer were out here tonight.
pulled out of friend's home on private road and four deer just standing in middle of road. I had to flash my lights at them to even get them
to move. I can imagine they were saying in deer: the nerve of this guy...

so what would repeatedly break a cooler in the middle? Either a manufacturing defect, hard to believe with Samsung, or something was exerting a lot of pressure on it.
would be fun to do a forensic analysis on the broken part, see if it tells a story.

wonderful pics Frits
looks mighty cold

David,

2 failures of an coil cooler would have me looking hard at mounting or plumbing. I am guessing it is a basic cooler circuit and doesn’t have a downstream valve, so how it is mounted or the plumbing is causing a strain.

I had a warranty replacement for the Ford dually 350 radiator due to apparently a known issue that if you drive on rough ground out in the bush it will twist with the chassis movements and break. Obviously the mounting was at fault

The picture was from Norway way above the arctic circle. I think they call them Trolls. They come in all sizes some as big as people. Lots of folklore associated with them. They lived in the forest and under bridges and in your barn and they can irritate the animals so you feed them rice porridge with sugar to keep them happy

Our daughter travels the world so she sends us pictures and videos so we can follow along in her adventures from the Arctic circle to Australia, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, Middle East, Afghanistan
