Good morning!!!!

Hawkeye, I added 8 tpms sensors to my motorhome and pulled car and huge improvement in peace of mind. Even more peace of mind when I sold it...:D
if you want to get horrified, search youtube for rv and trailer accidents, too many due to blown front tires.
Can't help road IED's, but slow leaks, you bet.
And most travel trailers, if my Jayco was representative, only give you enough space in the wheel well for that same size tire, you can't upsize for safety.
Sometimes you can go up a load range, but not always.

long day, outside all day long, rain threatened but went around, and I mowed, supervised and bush hogged. Feel a little baked from being outside.

lot of freeloading grasshoppers kept me company today. Perhaps they thought I was their local Uber...

Thanks Drew! The trailer already has 16" load range E, so my decision was whether I stay with ST tires (OE are Goodyear Marathons). I can get a decent price on Goodyear Endurance, same size and load range or I can go with LT tires, which is more money. I don't have a reason to go to LT tires with our usage. I think if we were traveling much more, I might consider them. After this trip, my wife would like me to carry a second spare for comfort. Just more stuff to carry.

Woke up this morning to birds singing and the refreshing sensation of cool air squeezing itself through the slightly open window above us and gently falling onto our faces, while the rest of our bodies kept cosy under the duvet. If Max wasn't waiting for me to take him out I could have happily laid there another hour or two. I'm sure it won't be as peaceful tomorrow as it's weaning time, today the ewes are being separated from their lambs.

Hard lemonade" is a new one on me, I had to lie about my age on Mike's web site to find out more. Alcoholic lemonade ! If it was lemonade mixed with beer we'd call that a shandy, but then there couldn't be much lemonade in the mix to get to 5% proof like Mike's, so I guess that's made with spirits.

In the UK the generic term for sweet alcoholic drinks is "alcopops". Randy, you're an alcopop swigging toppop :)

It actually is lemonade flavored beer, rather tasty, too. :drink:

Personnal i prefer hard cider. I picked that up in the UK, strongbow and woodpecker. Its now becoming very popular in the US.

I would have preferred 4 fingers of 100 proof Southern Comfort and a couple of ice cubes, but what I had was hard lemonade or some foo foo wine that Ellen drinks, so Mike won the day.

A storm just rolled in with a heavy shower, it’s 71 right now, back to the 90’s tomorrow. We Went to the Tuesday evening cruise in at Millsboro, DE, very crowded, got there at 6 and almost couldn稚 find a parking spot.

Hard to believe that autumn is five weeks away. Time rolls on.
Have a good evening, prayers for all.

Nice truck Farmer and the mighty Cummins best of best, have a gooseneck in my Ford works well

Thanks buppies and drew.

What year Ford? Pickup bed? Do you have trouble getting trailer level? What brand gooseneck?

I had a 30,000 lb. B&W turnover ball in my ‘06 Chevy. This one is factory hitch with a Curt 30,000 lb. ball.

mighty Cummins best of best- if you only knew how many people have already told me I should have bought a real truck and not a toy. They were implying Ford.

Tell Max he can wait whilst you develop the first part of your sonnet. We have to shut our homes right now to keep out the Saharan dust...although my daughter saw a scorpion in the middle of our kitchen floor. I sprayed some permethrin the other night, just to help make it rain (stuff works better if it stays on longer prior to being washed off). And it may have got the insects a bit riled up.

American football is getting started up at all levels. Our high school might have a good team this year. I heard they have a plethora of 16-18 year olds that weigh 290 lbs or so. Oh my!

wngsprd Speedy recovery wishes for Coco.

Ditto, and hope you don't have Lyme wngsprd. I'm always amazed at how you are able to keep up with Coco during your hikes.

Farmer, nice truck. Hope you like it. Got rid of the old one just in time. J-I-T as they say. My buddy hauls 17 round bales at once on his gooseneck trailer. He says most folks put the air bags into the rear suspension.

Got the PTO bushhog "torque limiter" clutch plate and bushing in. Got it installed in about 15 minutes with my trusty 1/2" drive impact. The old friction rings had broken into 2 pieces each.

Making some parts at work that are hopefully going to help make a different "bionic" arm. Just another R&D attempt to make a small step forward.

Ed, I hope you had good luck on the lathe and a safe drive. Our company bought a brand new manual lathe just before I hired in. It is an American Turnmaster 15 50 (ha! made in Taiwan) by Lagun IIRC. My former boss had the digital readout installed, and he bought it with a 10" Polish made, 6 jaw chuck. I love that chuck. One of the best I've ever used. I believe it is a Bison brand. The 6 jaws help you grip thin walled parts without "egging" them too much. IIRC, it cost about $25,000.

School night, first day of school tomorrow. Oldest and youngest are excited to go but the middle one, not so much.

Good morning (actually evening). Went up to about 88 today, higher than forecasted. No rain but I just put the dogs out and it was another 8" rain. (One drop every 8" on the walkway). Looks like a storm to the north, not sure if it will make it to us. Maybe a better chance Thursday and Friday. I hope so. Still way to dry.

Easy day at work today, spent the morning creating employee record folders in the shared computer files for all the new people graduating this Friday. Then ran them through the paces doing scenarios / hands on training this afternoon.

Tomorrow we have to run a few errands, then travel up to the county courthouse to straighten out a property tax problem. They apparently picked up our house off of the parcel that it has been on for 25 years, and moved it to another property we have which is considered "vacant land". Of course they sent the tax bill to the mortgage company which was reassessed as now vacant. They gladly paid the substantially reduced bill, and just sent us a check for the "overage of escrow". Now the county is claiming delinquent property tax and adding penalties and interest (that will be removed since it was their screw-up). The worst about all of this was that we weren't even notified until 6 months after all this transpired, and that was by getting a delinquent tax notice. Unbelievable. I'm just going to pay everything up to date, then try and straighten out the mortgage company later. (They want to lower the escrow amount now). I figure I better fight with only one bear at a time.

Farmer, congrats on the new truck....really nice. Hope you get the hitch issues worked out.

Eric, hope the ewes don't call out too often tonight.

I want to get up earlier tomorrow and get a few things done before the errands, so I'm going to cut it short and get to bed..... Everyone have a great evening and a fantastic day tomorrow. Prayers out for those needing.

Good evening all. 73F for the start, 2.8 inch in the gauge, light wind. More rain today, about 2.5 in the gauge, water over the low water bridge that was not flowing before. Low temp was 68F during the rain, and high temp was 88F. Got nearly 6 inches of rain in last three days, Lake level is nearly recovered. Had to go to Dallas to work on updated estate plan, got the "i"s doted and the "t"s crossed, stopped at Costco, and had lunch. Nap when got home too wet to work on anything outside.
Farmer nice truck, I have to wonder how many of the guys that implied your new truck was a toy can tow as much :D
Don, enjoy your concert.
RNG have fingers crossed for the finish of your van.
Prayers for all.
