easy trip downtown for basics, interesting that about 3/4 of supermarket was wearing masks.
We have so much flu here, cough, I took one look around and put my mask on.
Actually it was more relaxing to wear it.

I would not have lasted half an hour with that noise. Hope they brought some earplugs.
I listened to it and then it wouldn't leave my head. Imagine listening to that hour after hour
He sure can’t be faulted for leaving. Something had to give with that racket going on.

We had wife in nursing home after severe ankle break and having a knee problem as well. There are similar stories to tell here about the noise and the unwillingness of staff to do anything about it. What I see is nursing home relying on patients to be compliant by giving them opiate meds

That is a shame.

I confronted the nursing about it but to no avail. Wrote letters to management and met with the manager to hand deliver a legal sounding letter. Made no difference but when Medicare ran out they discharged her. Luckily by then I had completed a downstairs bathroom and set her up with bedroom downstairs as well so we were able to manage from there. Today she is back walking and the knee replacement went well also.

Same thing happened to my mom. They claimed she was agitated, and put her on an "antidepressant". Turns out they weren't answering her calls to use a bed pan, and she was laying in her own waste. And when we looked up the drug, it was intended to keep her in a zombie like state. We got her out of that place ASAP.

Our deer hunting neighbor did change his behavior after the sheriff visit. No more target shooting into our property and he moved the deer feeder further away. He shot a couple of deers but no where near the limit of 10

Good Morning.
It’s 48 with a high of 50. Overcast, but no rain.
Never got the HST filter on the tractor yesterday, ended up doing some network wiring and repairs at the restaurant.
Did get the driveway markers all installed. The tool that I made last year worked like a dream. The easiest it’s ever been and didn’t damage a single marker. A little phone consultation with Drew to help with his plumbing, a little bit of computer work, and it was dinner time.

This morning I setup the gps tracking dog collar for the new puppy (that isn’t here yet). Pretty cool technology, it relays position information to the web, and will let you track it, as well as notify you when it crosses two different, definable circles, so you could tell if it wandered outside, and again if it left the property.
Might do the filter after lunch, going to see Bill Kirchen at the Sellersville Theater this evening. The opening act is a local, but excellent Western swing band, “Beats Walking”. Should be a great show.

68°F and .79 inches rain

Another rainy day.

Ophthalmologist pleased with Sophie’s eye, slow progress but healing. Back in 6 weeks but a break from her drop regimen.

Took my leaking LS oil cooler to radiator shop in hopes it was repairable, nope. These are a Samsung unit

MaybeI can replace with a universal type. This is 2nd unit to go bad.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

that's really surprising David. Maybe in the mounting?

keep a lid on all your volcanoes.

Paul, Christmas puppy, what could be better?

Afternoon all!
Good news David!
Just got back from eye doctor visit with the wife too. My eyes are showing no change since last visit so next one is a year later.
Her eyes are showing a great improvement after the last procedure! Yay! Pressures are way down and macular is stable! Hopefully can hold off blindness for a few more years!
Been keeping busy in the wood shop making gifts. Got that done and now am working on a sleigh and reindeer display.
Two of the deer are ready for sanding and finish.

Two more to go then off to find sleigh pics or blueprints.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Ron, this is what we use around the farm for rodent control. We load up the trap with chunks and set them out in likely places. Works great and available at farm supply placesIMG_1357.jpeg

Good question Drew. Only way I see it could be if it somehow caused some sort of distortion (twisting) while in motion. Mounting is at the 4 corners. The leakage is in the finned area. Was hoping just a loose connection, but not.

I'm back from the 'big smoke'. A very uneventful trip. Gas down there was $1.379/L or $5.21/US gal. Silver gone for cash. $30.66/ozt
Still have 68 ounces, but that I am saving for the next time. They are all Canadian maples and command a better price. When my incometax rebate comes in AFTER the bills are paid, I may get some more.

My Dayton 21R166 Genny is in the shop waiting for parts, so I am going to get another one to hold me over until the good one comes back. That is one of the reasons I flogged the silver.
