Good afternoon all! Low was 59 this morning, nice! Now it is up to 91.... a few clouds, but probably no storms will form.
We got an early start this morning doing some errands and an appointment. Got back home and had a good lunch. I still have some more errands later this afternoon. Hopefully we got them all consolidated into today.
At least I was able to pick up the materials for another set of outside steps. I'll start laying them out tomorrow. There was a good supply / selection of pressure treated in stock, and prices were way down, closer to normal (still about 20% higher).
Mostly, the knee is about the same for the last 3 months. I can only walk with the assistance of a cane if the distance is greater than about 30 feet. Anything further than that and the knee will "give out", causing a stumble. I have learned to anticipate that happening and usually results in a weird 'dance' for a step or two.... It still swells to about twice normal size after about 4 hours...
Pain and movement gets progressively worse throughout the day. I have an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon next week.
Needless to say, I am not a happy camper.....
RNG, please close the door outside..... we don't need any of the heat, smoke, or anything else that wants to drift this way! I really hope it gets better for you out there. I heard a news report saying a few of those fires won't be extinguished until maybe December.....
Gotta get at it again.... everyone have a great evening!
