One of the "poor" cars my mom bought when I was young, was a used Studebaker Lark. I was young, but I believe it had a straight 6, 3 on the column and overdrive. No A/C.
Mostly, hope your wife's condition can be treated for the better. Prayers.
Hope Ron is OK.
I got the kawasaki mule done for my wifey's uncle. Rebuilt both front CV joints, troubleshot the fuel pump, changed oil. Charged him 9 hours @ 30/hr. He was glad to get it back. Most mechanic work is taxing on the body, if you're not in the best of shape.
Steiner Beast: changed the long v belt on the 72" deck. Belt size: A180. So now all the belts in the system are replaced. I had to take off some brackets to change it out. If you remember, I brought it back from near our salty coast. The deck has some rust spots. I just treated them with rustoleum rusty metal primer for now. Hope the fish oil slows the rust. I saw on FB, where a guy in my old hometown has a similar Toro mower for sale....$3500
I bought the belt for much less than a dealer. Dealer price about $45, V belt guys online price $7.99 plus 6.99 shipping. I ordered a belt for the Speedaire too, to defray shipping costs. If you need belts, I recommend the Vbeltguys

It might be the wand where the hose attaches???
Our area is dry.
I let my daughter's boyfriend do some shredding on my 4310. He went slow. Nothing broken. Whew.
We had beautiful weather for the weekend, but we desperately need rain. We are in exceptional drought condition IIRC.
prayers for our team, and for America.
