The city changed our health insurance provider for this year, and so far it's a nightmare. My wife has been getting some pretty expensive COPD medications from a mail order pharmacy and it's cost us nothing. But that pharmacy doesn't take this new insurance that the city says is going to be so great. I got a new insurance ID card for myself, but my wife, covered under the same plan did not. I contacted the insurance company two days before the end of the year and the lady said she send a new card, but we haven't gotten it. I've talked on the phone, after holding 15 to 30 minutes each time, to 3 different people, all of whom claim the card has been send.

Of course we have a different mail carrier almost every day now, and yesterday we didn't get any mail . . . . until a neighbor brought our mail to us because it was put in his box.

Bird we had problem with Cigna Ins and medication. My wife wanted ointment and ins. wanted her to take the pill form which causes kidney damage and behavioral problems. (dr. prescription was for ointment) The ointment cost over $600 at CVS. At good RX it was $360.
At Spring Meds. it was $60. It came in the mail today. What a racket no help from Cigna but 5 stars for spring meds to keep the cost down.

"I got pushed from 1b to 1c to make room for the prison population. So a 35 year old career criminal with COPD from smoking all his life and diabetes from sitting on his butt eating cookies and watching the big screen TV on our dime goes first.
I知 not pissed off much."

I hear you Randy.

Not sleeping very well lately. Need some cortisone shots again but did manage to wake later this a.m. at 6.30 to a cool 66.2 deg. Only shorts required. Bit cloudy but no rain happening. Might get on the tractor and do some mowing later. Need to knock the purple top down that is spreading. Sleep well all....

Why buy a separate screen when you can use your iPhone, or even better, your iPad/tablet? Seems like you're paying a lot for a one trick pony.

My mom does not have internet service - no wifi. Will it work at her house?

Good morning, well it's morning somewhere...
Got the light bar wired up on the ROPS and took down some more lawn Xmas stuff.
Brought up some more firewood, and got the worst shot of pain in my back. Oh well.

Mostly - thanks for the Peugeot pics , mine was white with the same color stripes , like your color a lot.

RSwyan - Happy Birthday and many more with good health!

Cold here, but clear , nice sunset. Time for Ibuprefen and Alcohol - for my back pain of course :)

Stay safe and be well. Went to the H Mart and got some sliced Beef for Bulgogi-time to fire up the grill.

I’ve had issues with different companies over the year. One wouldn’t cover the dermatology medication for my son that worked, would only cover a different one that was tried and didn’t work. Really didn’t matter what the Dr said.
I’ve learned to go to the company that makes a medicine and see what they offer. I get Eliquis for $10 a month that would cost over $500 using my insurance.

For COVID shot, I’m in the bottom everyone else group. Seems they should have a more granular system. How about working people before the handout crowd.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Rswyan! Hope you enjoyed the day!

Never stepped foot in the shop yesterday, I felt 'borderline' on getting another migraine.... took it easy, did some errands at a leisurely pace instead. No headache developed, so good day.

Went early this morning to get some diesel and top off the tractor. Then went over to the neighbor two houses over and augered 20 holes for fence posts. He's lucky he only has to fence 2 sides of his property. He was amazed at how easy the tractor / auger went 3' down... he gave up trying to do one by hand. We did all 20 in a couple of hours.

The high for today only reached 32.... and that was at 9 this morning. 24 now and starting to snow. The forecasts still differ from 2-4", or 6-12" possible..... tractor is ready if we get dumped on....

Had a nice bowl (actually 2) of homemade chicken vegetable soup to warm up. Now relaxing in front of the pellet stove.

A couple of pics of today's seat time:

Happy birthday RS!

I spent my birthday in the hospital....so happy that is over with!

Today was busy. Ended up trading a Ruger 10-22 for a Ruger SR9c pistol. Guy who had it couldn稚 rack the slide, shot it twice, put it in his safe. He wanted a .22 rifle.....deal.

Then I replaced all 4 sockets for the vanity fixture in the bathroom.

Helped the wife put away some Xmas decorations.

Brought in firewood.

Then we went for Chinese for dinner.

I am tired

Everyone have a good evening.
