Scroll compressor at work has been working great, with the temp bypass we did on the thermostat.

GT80, the kid has been sad that he can't ride on weekdays, because I get home after dark. We quizzed him about his first day back at school after the holidays. It went something like this. Wifey asked him "Did you tell anybody you got to ride a horse bareback?"....."Noooo" he said. I asked, "Did you tell anyone you got a minibike for Christmas?" He answered fast and firm, "YES, because it is COOL!"....Made my day.

Since I pay a bit more attention to Covid news these days....not sure why....:laughing:

County health department has announced that no matter what the governor has announced about which groups are next in line for the vaccination, the availability of vaccine is critically low. The county is allocated 100 doses/week which between the hospital and health department, can be administered in 1 day. All vaccine is currently being reserved to complete front line health care workers, group 1A.

Our local positive rate for December was 37.9%.

I'm beginning to wonder if the supply chain supply for the vaccine is drying up. For over a week there are no new reports of vaccines being replenished. All the web sites say is: " Looking for COVID-19 vaccine info? We're working with the state of Texas and the CDC to provide COVID-19 vaccines when they're available to the public."

Not being a very trusting soul, I wondered about the second shot because my wife said they told her we'd be notified. So after a couple of days of wondering whether she might have misunderstood, I sent an email to ask when we could get the second shot. And I got the same answer that she had said; you'll be notified. I'll bet they got a lot that same question.

Anyway, this morning I got an email from the hospital addressed to both of us that says, "Your second Covid-19 Dose is scheduled for: 01/27/2021 Our hours of operation are from 7am to 4 pm. May I schedule you for your 2ND Dose at 10:00am on 01/27/21?"

Naturally, I replied, "Sounds good and thank you for the schedule."

Congrats on the snow blower Drew. Back when I lived in snow country that was one of those drooled over options that stayed outside of budget reach. Now I don’t need one

My 2017 Silverado bit the bullet, is an LTZ with nice bells and whistles. My dealer is looking to swap the 2017 LTZ for a new 2020 LT.

I would think that if you mean an even trade, you’d be financially ahead because of three years depreciation, but if your truck is better equipped and you love it, why trade?

It's very good you are on the list for the second shot, looks like things will be changing for the rest of us.
"Joe Biden will aim to release every available dose of coronavirus vaccine when he takes office as president, a departure from Trump administration strategy of holding back doses to make sure second doses are available, CNN reported Friday". Note - please do not make this political just quoting the change of policy. It is what it is.
