I won. Got both tractors running.

Ended up being battery in both.

Outstanding!!
Speaking of batteries...when i knocked off mowing the field, I left my headlights and work lights on...wifey noticed it when picking up a delivery on the front deck. Well, lights were on when I went out....turned 'em off and tried the starter...gonna have to give it a jump or put it on the charger

nice dinner out on the deck looking over the Pamlico River, steady breeze offshore, sat ten feet apart, no need for mask, delightful.

Now Bird you're just not a Pennsylvania boy or you would know all about Fordhook lima beans.
I grew up on them...they were developed on a farm owned by W. Atlee Burpee, located in Doylestown, half an hour away from our farm.
Some folks don't like them, trick is not to overcook them and turn them to mush. Bet we ate them at home once a week.
Basically Fordhooks are the big green limas and the the most common are the baby green limas.

I love ford hook Lima beans.

I had checked mower battery wires yesterday and tightened a lose one. Don’t know why I didn’t check voltage then. It only had 7 volts.

So I told MIL this afternoon I would just run into Costco and get one, and fill up her gas can also. The mower died on her because it ran out of gas. Her husband always took care of these things.
So while at Costco I decided to grab a battery for the tractor also. It had never been ran since last fall sometime.
Was really surprised when the kubota fired up , as last time i tried I put my jump starter on it. But maybe one of the safety switches was not quite aligned then.

So I took it for a victory lap. I’ll bring it home later, going to get his 12 ftx6 trailer also.

Drew, beautiful place to kick back and relax. I showed the pic to the wifey.... we both said "I really miss the waterfront" at the same time. I wonder if that is an omen of things to come.... mmmmm....

Glad to read you had a pleasant social outing, Drew.
Cottage tenant suggested to Sophie yesterday that perhaps we should consider a distance appropriate gettogether. Strange thing is we do see them probably several times a week, from the car, across the fence, maybe in the garden. Just not the same as a pure social, face to face visit.

Dennis sure would be nice if all problems were so easily resolved. Good for you 🤙

David thanks for the update in Sophie's expectations, hope something can be worked out.
Kyle never heard a weed wand called a tampon, happy BD to your Mom
David looks yummy
Roy not sure using stabil will help funky carb. I will use some kind of carb/injector cleaner in fresh gas with stabilizer. Sea Foam is my favorite
Drew hope you can get safety bar fixed.
Phil congrats on putting your papers in.
Billy hope you get your grass mowed.
Ted I should organize more. Nice work on the tailgate.
RNG sorry about the Dream Machine, the last Unix machine I supported got shut down about 10 years ago. Any good news on smog for the van?
David congrats on 15 years in Paradise and all you have accomplished there
RS not sure Squeak looks like she likes the harness, but females are known to be difficult to read :)
Dennis, congrats!!
Drew, I did not know the term Fordhooks either, and Dad used to grow lima beans in the garden growing up. Nice back yard
prayers for all, especially Drew, Jay/Peg, Kyle's daughter, Mike, David(Moss), country
