Mowed most of the lawn...what I didn't mow wasn't high enough to require mowing.
After that, went to the field and mowed. Got about half done and the low fuel light came on. I know the fuel sender isn't accurate and needs replacing, but the Curtis cab would have to be removed to access the fuel tank sender (I'd asked the dealer about this a couple years back). Removing the cab would be a real job that I'm not equipped for and I'm not going to pay a deal several hundred bucks to replace a twenty dollar sender. My work-around is just keeping the tank filled. Anyway, it was getting hot in the cab...I'll finish up next weekend.
No joy with the generator. It'll start right up, then dies in a minute or two. Since it started right up, I'm not so sure it's the fuel gone bad. There's the plug, but I haven't ran this genny except for maintenance tests.. Reckon I need to do some research...

Grilled pork chops and potatoes and had Fordhooks to go with them, now I need a nap!
Watching the hummingbirds at the feeders and on the butterfly bushes. A little hotter than yesterday and still humid. No rain for two days so things are drying a bit.
Gotta go cover the grill and take Ellen and Gracie for drive to Chincoteague for ice cream.

Never heard of "Fordhooks" before; had to look that one up, and I like'em, too, even if I never heard them called Fordhooks before.

Roy seafoam will help with some kinds of carburetor problems. If you can get it into the gas and into the carb and let it sit for a while. I am running NO ethanol gas with a splash of seafoam in all the small engines.

80F slight breeze more clouds than sun now.

Good day getting things done before the heat wave arrives tomorrow,Town for extra critter food,front field trim and mow mower sleeping for least week now.
Mrs. been cooking chunk of meat on the grill for while just added potatoes onions peppers mushrooms I won't be late for dinner. :licking:
Little later set on the deck enjoy smooth cigar refreshing spirts listening for night sounds and movements.
