Ted, that hobby shed sure is taking on own personality. Great job.
Rswyan, thanks, I have had similar thoughts. Possibly writing something and placing in our Trust binder along with my thoughts how our granddaughter might subdivide our property long after we are gone, something I toy in my mind almost anytime I’m out mowing for hours.
I make the pizza dough with my sour dough bread starter, make the sauce with tomatoes and Italian seasoning and make the base hummus from chickpeas and spices, top it off with onions, peppers, garlic, pineapple, olives, sliced tomatoes, steamed kale, and then sprinkle nutritional yeast on the top (for cheese flavor).
Turns out they escaped from next door 14 acres away did not know they had any. Still do not know if they found them. Rutted up back yard pretty good before we ran them off
Postcard type day, blue sky and about 80 with very low humidity. Got the grass mowed, but that .8 of rain from Thursday was gone, just like a dust bowl out there.
Got my driveway, turnouts, buildings, etc... all sprayed with glyphosate, just have to go around the property and spray the vines and weeds along the perimeter.
Buppies, glad your pigs were not roving wild hogs.
Nice pictures again today!
fireman neighbor in charge of selling all my small tools and equipment.
He said "you were right, the firemen came out and this stuff was like candy to them". He said he collected several thousand dollars
for the small stuff alone, everything from tools to truck tiedowns to pull chains, Warn portable winch, seems like an endless supply of stuff I collected along the way, and since I can't use it for at least two more years, storage was both too expensive and just not sensible.
My older brother is very complimentary of my 35 year old neighbor, good heart and good effort. These are the folks why I wanted to live in this area, all long time
farm stock and tight knit families. And since I was a fireman like them, we all knew and understand the ethos of first responder and helping others. Now it's my time to be helped and I'm grateful.
