That ice is pretty to look at from inside a warm house, but it can be a real pain for all the issues it causes.
Am I seeing some power lines running through those pictures.

Scrambler, which model of F150 was $46k? We get ads here in for $30k (US) Toronto for a nicely equipped Supercrew 4 x 4. And that is before you negotiate.[/QUOTE

Randy, car looks good. Hope the new owner has fun with it.

The guy just asked me to flush the toilet several times so he could watch the flow to make sure everything looked good. My tank is a 1,500 gallon concrete one with a concrete lid. $385, after the senior citizen discount. More than last time, a bunch of years ago.

I believe ours is 3 tanks in a row, each 500 gallon.

Mostly, here is the bed extender pic requested.View attachment 640704

Kyle 400 sounds about right from Ace Hardware in Giddings. If it's not going to rain for a while no water was necessary but if the ground gets saturated you should put water in the septic tank to keep it down. I filled my half full of water the last time I had it cleaned.

My garden soil is a mixture of homemade compost from my 60 gallon compost barrel and mushroom compost and garden club compost and acid compost (to offset alkaline well water). The greenhouse SIG does free PH soil test and my results will be available Tuesday.

Thanks Don. Bed extender looks handy. Soil science is half the battle.

Sunny day, hit 40°
Son went to the XFL game in DC.
I put new combo lock on barn, old one wasn’t always unlocking.
Here’s the inside of a Schlage combo lock.
IMG_3521.JPG
Combo Motor turns a screw drive, that pushes down a plastic piece and presses a pin into a slot that allows the outside handle to catch.
The key turns a cog that pushes down the plastic and pin.
For some reason the pin wasn’t engaging with the combo motor, I suspect the screw drive had slipped and it wasn’t pushing enough. When I took it apart it fell apart. I got it back together and it now works, might put this lock on back garage door.
Made Costco run. Visited 90 yo friend who just moved to assisted living, just got out of rehab center after being sick.
More ribs in IP.
Need a couple dollies, and try to get old freezer on them to wheel to back of basement.
Worked on taxes some more, showing a huge refund. I’m having too much taken out, need to change my w4.

Good evening all. 34F this morning, partly cloudy, calm wind. Sky cleared off while riding, wind became moderate, and high temp was 62F. bike ride this morning and early afternoon, nap, sky became cloudy while napping, had dinner with wife, stepdaughter, and her boyfriend.
David, rain does get in the way here some times. Need to start riding more miles and more often for Easter Hill country (about 175 miles in three days).
Jim, One of the things I remember about the U2 was the lack of separation between Vne and stalling speed, about ten knots If I recall correctly. If the airplane is stalled, it was a sure bet recovery would put you over the Vne and airplane would breakup. I cannot imagine flying over Russia like that for hours at a time!
Drew sorry to hear about MRI, have had lots of them as a lab rat, but I don't have the fused neck like you have.
Ron hope you get batery worked out nice moon pic
Billy I don't think you are obsessed with septic tanks  Had septic tank for 20 years in MO, had it pumped at about 10 years, could have gone longer, had tank hear pump 2 years ago, .50 a gallon (1000 gal tank) with just 2 of us it won't fill as fast.
Don good luck with your potatoes
Roy sorry about the clogging problems, and the lack of cabin heat. I am going to guess it is still warmer than open station tractor for snow removal :2cents:
Drew glad you are helping neighbor widow, if i was losing you as a neighbor I would be disappointed!
Rick you are warm down there.
RNG enjoy your new mantel on concrete king :)
Ron that sounds like a hefty lens for not using a tripod
Ted glad your wind dropped off.
Ron glad you got radiator cleaned out.
Scrambler, good luck with keeping you old truck running, did that for years just with 60's and 70's technology.
Kyle, when my septic here got pumped was in summer, and the guy recommended to at cat or dog food to extra flushes for a couple of days, with your crew may not need extra flushes.
Phil is the extra ice off of trees?
Randy surprised you sold Monte Carlo, what is going to replace it?
Don thanks for bed extender pic, I feel like my bed is short at 7.5 feet.
Nice tree ice pics all
David nice pics showing trusses going up. Is it easier as you crew gains experience?
Buckeye nice you got lock working again. Sounds like you got your tax questions all answered.
prayers for all
