80 degrees on Christmas in Texas. You have to love it.
I still think Don and Kyle's kids and grandkids would have rather seen about four inches of snow.
Of course, like here, then no one would have a snow plow, but it never lasts long anyway.
Quite the temp changes in Texas recently, really have to look at weather in morning to know what to wear...
47 going up to a warm 65 here.

Headed to local Napa to get degreaser. Anyone know of something that works better than Gunk?
this is when I sure get the twitch to drive over to Harbor Freight and get one of those 99 dollar degreaser stations with the fluid running through it.
This morning I will be scraping off grease, which I actually found to be a good sign, prior owner loved his grease gun, it flung everywhere.

A very nice Christmas with my wife, stepdaughter and a friend of my stepdaughter's (her occasional boy friend). The Christmas meal was very informal...a meat tray and a veggie tray. It was very nice, and just right for us.

Got down to single digits last night and it's dropping a bit now (since I woke up about a hour ago). High will be just above freezing, which is good since we're looking at a mixed precipitation today

Coffee is done brewing. 42° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 61° with lots of sun. Very nice Christmas day. Spent over 1 hour using face-time with family. Not much planned for today.
Good Morning All.

spent the last half hour reading articles on battery charging and finally educated myself on battery charger switch settings.
charger shows wet/gel/agm as options.
Real world uses different terms for batteries other than agm.
Bottom line seems to be that any battery that has removable caps for adding water, they are wet.
Any sealed batteries, with no caps, aka SLA, sealed lead acid, use the second setting gel. I know what gel paste construction is but wonder
if this industry could get their terms straightened out. Very easy to cook a sealed lead acid battery and wreck it within months if you charge it on the
wet setting. That setting's higher voltage cooks the sealed battery and apparently it can't vent properly.
I wonder how many times I've done that by mistake, since it defaults to wet. 4 way smart charger but if I'm the dummy operator and put it on the wrong setting,
it's not smart enough to sense the battery and say no no no.

caps: wet
sealed: gel
agm: agm

Moral of the story is don't cook your SLA's
