Randy- Thanks for sharing the + news. Good luck.
Wngsprd, without Ellen I guess I would have landed in a nursing home with who knows what for care, God surely sent her to me.

BEF, prayers for you my friend, a quick and full recovery.
Taking 5th and last iv treatment. I dont see signs of improvement, disappointed.
The gonna kick me out to acute rehab to see how i do. Hopkins downtown or UM rehab.
If i get worse, they readmit and try worse treatment.
Don it looks interesting but for best results it should be following for 3 to 6 months for a minimal weight reduction 3 to 6 pounds. It's only 5 days each month at $225 a month that's $75 to $100 a pound. Look up what the diet is and for much less can accomplish the same result. Health line had info on the plan.Dabsgt you might want to try Prolon for 5 days to give you a jump start. You just eat what they send in the package - you will loose 7-10 lbs in 5 days.
Fasting Mimicking Diet | Prolon FMD It actually does get you back on track on portion size - it's all plant based also.
Thanks, Rick.
The R can be had open station as well, and that's where my focus has been so far. Basically the same tractor as the M, but the loader on the R can be disconnected by flipping a couple of levers and disconnecting the hydraulic lines, and it has a rotating seat and the Hitch Assist, which allows you to lift the 3PT arms and jog the tractor forward and backwards from behind. It also has cruise control, a feature I've never found useful on the Kubota. I'm going to try to swing by another Deere dealer to look at an M and the loader mounts, and see how easy it would be to dismount the loader. I've done it several times on the Kubota, mostly to ease maintenance and repairs, and though I wouldn't mind removing a few bolts and disconnecting the lines to get one off, if it requires a forklift it would be a show stopper. There's about a $5K difference between the M and the R, a pretty Deere price to pay for a feature that should be standard (pun intended).

I was also not impressed the loader mounts. They use a vertical plate about an inch thick and six inches wide, maybe two feet tall, that is welded to a four inch diameter tube at the bottom, which is then welded to another plate that bolts to the tractor. The Kubota uses much the same structure, and I've already seen both arms break from fatigue loading from carrying loads of dirt or gravel in the bucket on a side hill. The tops of the plate flexes about a half inch side to side as the tractor hits bumps and irregularities on the ground. Other Kubota mounts use square or C section uprights and do not have the issue because they have much more lateral stiffness. Look at the photo and you'll see how flimsy the mount looks in comparison to the loader parts.
I did give the John Deere's a good look before buying my first LS and really like them ...... until I saw the price. I looked at Kubota too but, so much of what was LS standard was optional on Deere and Kubota. I had a John Deere Z-820 zero turn so knew the dealer very well. They just could get close to the LS price.
