61° tonight, been warming all day, heavy rain has hit, along with the wind.
I still have two of my Garmin units, but haven’t used them in a long time, I don’t recall the models. They have lifetime updates, and one hasn’t been done in over 5 years. If I don’t put the new stereo with Navigation in the old Monte Carlo imight use one in it.

Good evening all. 43F this morning, partly cloudy, windy. Wind blew all day, mostly sunny, and high temp of 59F. Followup, with Dr, all good except thyroid, TSH at high end and had been in the middle. Took wife to town, she went to dentist while I got haircut, then grocery store, Japanese restaurant then home. Did get a nap and dog walk in.
Don and Ron you are giving me Garmin envy, my old 2450 work but is not so sophisticated. Voice rec on it is not very useful :(.
Drew cool pic. :)
Ted hope therapy went well.
prayers for all.

Double doggone darn, my old friends are becoming teenagers.........

And nerdy ones at that . . .:D oh, it also connects to a wireless back-up camera, if I had one.

RNG, I have gone through 2 bottles of chipotle Cholula in two weeks and the 64oz is looking pretty good as I used the last of the second bottle on a beet burger today.

Raining hard. Put 3 bags of pellets in the back of the ranger and moved it from the barn to the garage. Hopefully will get the box filled in 3 days.

Welcome to our world. I suspect I picked up the bug at the hospital. For a couple of days my belly hurt like I had been on a hundred sit ups at a time regimen, just from coughing. Just about the time I think it痴 over I値l have a coughing fit.

Trying to figure out if thinking about the cough is an alert for cough attack coming, or not.

Had the same issue and the doc wrote a prescription for antibiotics when I visited for a physical. Almost a week later, the cough is all but gone. Whatever it is that's going around eventually settles in the lungs and ends up causing an infection, and at least in my case, that was the cure. YMMV...

35 right now, high of about 50 today. That rain that was predicted hasn't hit Bethel yet, but we'll see it soon enough.
Last working day of 2018 for me...

Bella's blood test came back....good news, actually. The first test (machine read) wasn't really good. White blood cell count and other criteria were low...indicating possible cancer or other problems. I requested another test be done and this one was much better...also, it was read by a tech, not a machine. The vet recommended we have another test in about 3 months.

I can't say anything about a machine read blood test, but I know from experience, one cannot trust an automated blood pressure test. If done by a machine, my BP results always come back extremely high...but if I get a test (at the same time) done by a human, the results are much better....

Second childhood is great!

I wonder, was is the best part of everyone's second childhood ?

For me it is being able to cut down a tree without anyone complaining - maybe that's because as a kid we didn't have any trees, those me and my friend Roy cut down all belonged to someone else :ashamed: :D.

It is the shortest day of the year today - a good excuse to turn the Christmas tree lights on early.

Roy, Bella's results must be a great early Christmas present.

I finally got around to seeing how easy/hard it is to take the loader off the Iseki. A spring loaded catch retaining the right hand side quick release locking pin was a little tight for my fingers, I ended up getting the socket set out to take the spring off. Other than that, the FEL came off as easy as the manufacturer claimed. The hydraulic coupler was as simple as in this promotional video MX - MACH System - Connexion instantanée tracteur / chargeur - Loader to tractor quick coupler - YouTube

Next year I plan on going loaderless a lot more often.

33 and the high will be 32°F. Winds NE 18 gusting to 28 mph. Freezing rain warning has ended. Right now it is raining. Later this morning the rain is supposed to switch over to snow to the amount of 2-4", is my best guess.

There goes my driveway, gone for a rutted dump again. I MUST go out this morning and I am going to North Bay, I think. I will check on 511.on.ca first.
The check on 511.on.ca doesn't look good for the North Bay trip. road conditions are 'poor' at best.
Ontario 511

The truck driver that killed the hockey players in Saskatchewan has been remanded till January 8th.
He had to surrender his passport and is 'out' on $1,000.oo bail. There are other 'conditions' too. He is facing 16 charges that amount to vehicular homicide (14 years in the can for each charge) AND 13 charges of bodily harm (10 years in the can on each charge). Things might be easier in Canada than where he was from, BUT you do not take a 138,000 lb rig and run a stop sign right in front of a bus and get away with it. Google Humboldt Broncos, it is all there. humboldt broncos - Google Search

Have a good day all

Visit mom today and finish some Christmas wrapping (bagging).

Don, get you a $40 wireless backup camera. My last three vehicles have all had factory cameras and I’ve learned to love them for trailer connecting!

Hope everyone has a safe enjoyable
Friday. God bless.

very warm morning, 60 going up a few degrees, rain is ending, going to be mighty mushy out there.
not much planned for today
Roy glad you are getting a break for awhile.

Eric, glad the FEL came off easily. You must be feeling quite spry driving around without it.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 37° with rain this morning. Heading to 39° with rain most of the morning. .5" rain since yesterday morning. Got my projects completed yesterday. But my arm was complaining all day. Off to PT this morning. Then to Lowes to get some Oak wood to make a foot rail for Kitchen Island. Phone APP says they have it in stock. :confused2:

Don, interested in how your GPS works. My truck Diezel 560 models have all the features your new one has except voice commands.
I see Amazon sells chipotle Cholula 64 oz with a pump. Just add a squirt/pump here and there. That bottle will also last about 2 weeks. :D

Looking, take your tractor to North Bay. The company my son has a contract with hired a bunch of Immigrants. Out of a couple hundred only about 5% are left. Apparently they were not able to handle our roads and rules. Lots of accidents.

Eric, my tractor feels naked without it's loader.

Roy, glad Bela's test was good.

All those in the heavy rain area's. Watch out for flooded roads.

Good Morning All.
