61° tonight, been warming all day, heavy rain has hit, along with the wind.
I still have two of my Garmin units, but haven’t used them in a long time, I don’t recall the models. They have lifetime updates, and one hasn’t been done in over 5 years. If I don’t put the new stereo with Navigation in the old Monte Carlo imight use one in it.

Good evening all. 43F this morning, partly cloudy, windy. Wind blew all day, mostly sunny, and high temp of 59F. Followup, with Dr, all good except thyroid, TSH at high end and had been in the middle. Took wife to town, she went to dentist while I got haircut, then grocery store, Japanese restaurant then home. Did get a nap and dog walk in.
Don and Ron you are giving me Garmin envy, my old 2450 work but is not so sophisticated. Voice rec on it is not very useful :(.
Drew cool pic. :)
Ted hope therapy went well.
prayers for all.

Double doggone darn, my old friends are becoming teenagers.........

And nerdy ones at that . . .:D oh, it also connects to a wireless back-up camera, if I had one.

RNG, I have gone through 2 bottles of chipotle Cholula in two weeks and the 64oz is looking pretty good as I used the last of the second bottle on a beet burger today.

Raining hard. Put 3 bags of pellets in the back of the ranger and moved it from the barn to the garage. Hopefully will get the box filled in 3 days.

Welcome to our world. I suspect I picked up the bug at the hospital. For a couple of days my belly hurt like I had been on a hundred sit ups at a time regimen, just from coughing. Just about the time I think it痴 over I値l have a coughing fit.

Trying to figure out if thinking about the cough is an alert for cough attack coming, or not.

Had the same issue and the doc wrote a prescription for antibiotics when I visited for a physical. Almost a week later, the cough is all but gone. Whatever it is that's going around eventually settles in the lungs and ends up causing an infection, and at least in my case, that was the cure. YMMV...

35 right now, high of about 50 today. That rain that was predicted hasn't hit Bethel yet, but we'll see it soon enough.
Last working day of 2018 for me...

Bella's blood test came back....good news, actually. The first test (machine read) wasn't really good. White blood cell count and other criteria were low...indicating possible cancer or other problems. I requested another test be done and this one was much better...also, it was read by a tech, not a machine. The vet recommended we have another test in about 3 months.

I can't say anything about a machine read blood test, but I know from experience, one cannot trust an automated blood pressure test. If done by a machine, my BP results always come back extremely high...but if I get a test (at the same time) done by a human, the results are much better....

Second childhood is great!

I wonder, was is the best part of everyone's second childhood ?

For me it is being able to cut down a tree without anyone complaining - maybe that's because as a kid we didn't have any trees, those me and my friend Roy cut down all belonged to someone else :ashamed: :D.

It is the shortest day of the year today - a good excuse to turn the Christmas tree lights on early.

Roy, Bella's results must be a great early Christmas present.

I finally got around to seeing how easy/hard it is to take the loader off the Iseki. A spring loaded catch retaining the right hand side quick release locking pin was a little tight for my fingers, I ended up getting the socket set out to take the spring off. Other than that, the FEL came off as easy as the manufacturer claimed. The hydraulic coupler was as simple as in this promotional video MX - MACH System - Connexion instantanée tracteur / chargeur - Loader to tractor quick coupler - YouTube

Next year I plan on going loaderless a lot more often.
