Good Morning Everyone!!!!

A foggy, drizzly, showery 52ºF for today’s low temperature; a humid overcast 59ºF presently; and I anticipate a cloudy afternoon in the mid60ºF’s. Rain tonight lasting into tomorrow AM. NWS/Norton-Boston has issued a Special Weather Statement/Hazardous Weather Statement; but it really applies south and east of here unless this system changes from predicted track. I had a scheduled dentist appointment at 8:00AM to replace a temporary crown with another “permanent” one. This is the second crown for this molar. :(

“Ah, the decisions required of an aging body ”- David It’s best to take advantage of vacation opportunities when one is still physically capable of handling them. Good luck with the $ shifting & shuffling and the planned family cruise:cool:

If I understand my personal situation correctly next week we are going to spend 3 days enjoying the Bronx Zoo, the following week we are taking a long “weekend” in RI, and later in June we are traveling to visit BIL and GF in SC and see friends in MD on our return trip. There are a couple of B&B’s, restaurants, and hotels we want to revisit Wifey wanted this; she made all the arrangements; all I have to do is drive and carry luggage.

Drew- Way too hot for my liking. Take care.

Bunyip- You apparently had an atypical hot Summer/Fall in Australia; I am sure you are enjoying the cooler temperatures. Good luck with your DJI Mavic Pro. It’s easy to get “turned around” at height and distance (BTDT more than a “few times”). I “grounded” my “Flying Cuisinart” after the installation of solar panels in our lower field.

BEF- Nice looking mower. I hope you have may hours of uneventful mowing together.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

69°F and .14 inches rain

Be working on cleaning up the mess from my trench work. Give it several days to help compact before doing the bricks. Hopefully talk with plumber today and get idea what his schedule is.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Can you nail a couple 2x4s together 3" wide, and pack sand with that before laying the brick?

David, I hope that is ABS pipe, and not PVC, because the ABS is much tougher pipe. I used the same 3 inch ABS pipe to bury my 1 1/4 inch waterline, but of course I went much deeper than you did, and surrounded the pipe by Sand before backfilling with the (very) rocky dirt that came out of the trench.

Good luck with it!

Thanks, James.
This pic was pipe just laid down in, actually it is 12 inches to top, a bit deeper than plumbers original line. Plumber recommended the PVC over ABS. I was going with ABS as it is a bit cheaper. Internet info basically says either. I compacted the sand with water before backfilling.

Hi guys, quick check in. I’m in the hospital since Tuesday with cellulitis, gout, low sodium and poor kidney function. Other than that I’m good. I hope you are all well and I will check in when I feel better
