Good morning to all! Low of 43 this morning, going up to 72. Heavy overcast this morning, 30% chance of t-storms this afternoon. I hope we can get some rain. It's been quite a few weeks since any measurable precipitation.

Drew, take care out in that heat...it can sneak up on you quickly!

David, you must be getting excited (and relieved) that the concrete crossing project is finally coming to an end! Now you can concentrate on that new tractor!

Kyle glad your gravel spreading went quickly. Did you jump in the pool afterwards?

RNG, storms out there sound like here...always passing around us. We used to joke about having a hole in the atmosphere right above us, causing all the storms to get sucked out. I have seen storms approach and literally split and go to each side of us.

Getting ready to go spread some more stone. Hopefully the storms will hold off until I'm done...then it can rain all it wants!

Still cool here this morning 31°. Yesterday was partly cloudy with a cold wind, it was in the mid 50's. I was surprised this morning there isn't a cloudy in the sky. Today is going to be in the mid 60's and partly cloudy buy the afternoon with a light breeze.

Talked to one of the neighbors and he said he thinks we got over 18 inches of snow last week. Good thing it was warm enough to melt it during the day. The forecast shows a chance of showers this weekend. I hope that doesn't turn into snow.

Making the weekly trip to town this morning. Not sure I'll do anything after we get back.

67°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 79° today.

Most of the serious stuff missed us last night, either north or south. Looking forward to some drying time, as the weather widget shows no rain until next Wednesday.

Watched the hockey game last night. Was a bit concerned that OT meant the alarm clock would be rude at 5am this morning, but I was in bed by 10:30. Awesome that the Blues got a win in Boston. One of the best hockey games I've seen in a long time.

Woke up to the sound of thunder. How far off I sat and wondered. Counted the seconds between flash and boom. The worst went just south of us, but we did get some much needed rain.

I remember the dad doing that with the son in the movie Poltergeist. I think that was just before the tree tried to eat the kid.
