Plenty of love bugs here. Having to wash my car every day or 2.

Aldi stores don't carry the wide range of needs when I go shopping. I could see it as a useful "convenience" store if you lived nearby. And they have the "rent a cart" all backwards. You should be able to rent it at a "dropoff rack" in the parking lot, get your groceries, return it to dropoff rack in the parking lot instead of by the front door...It was raining the night I tried out Aldis. I left the quarter in the cart and hoped a homeless person could either get the quarter or use the cart themselves I was so mad. Raining and I'm going to walk all the way back to the front of the store to get a quarter back??? Plus, you have to guess how many bags to buy to bag your own groceries. If your one short, you have to go stand in line to buy another. LOL.

Good evening all. 73F this morning partly sunny with rapid clearing, light wind. Wind picked up quickly, and high temp was 95F. Did get bike ride in this morning, not much else as today was cleaning day.

Had Aldi in STL before we moved, prices were not super low, no quarter in cart, and bags were free. Last trip to STL to visit stepson, went with him to Aldi to shop sure has changed a lot!

63 this morning heading up to high 80's on a nice clear day.
Prayers to families of hundreds of people who have died in Mexico from that huge earthquake.
And for sure some prayers for the folks in Puerto Rico who are about to get hit with a Cat 5 hurricane.
175mph winds with gusts to 215 mph. That's simply unreal.

Got a visit with the dermatologist to remove a squamous skin cancer today on my back. Glad only 1 of my 3 biopsies was a bad one.

60F upper 70"s for high slight chance of shower.

Least than couple hours trimming last evening because of darkness,finger cross for the same this evening.

Notice young duck are practicing flying longer times now,soon...very soon.

Coffee has been poured. 66° with fog this morning. Heading to 81° with sun after fog burns off. Weatherman a week ago was forecasting temperatures in the upper 60's and low 70's. Now forecast is 80's for next week. With a couple of days near 90°. Long pants are put away for at least one more week. Plans today are to cut lawn where it has grown. Find a place to get dog groomed. Clean up metal on cellar door frame where it has started to rust. Hopefully get a coat of primer on it. Start putting all the metal that collected around here to haul to scrap yard.
Prayer for all those in the path of nature's wrath.
