Good morning!!!!

67°F here and foggy. Hard to remember it was 31°F at this time just two days ago. Forecast says 77°F this afternoon with 20% chance of rain.

I'm "planning" to take advantage of a warm day to wash the mud off of two tractors, my truck, and the Kubota ZT. Hopefully other "shiny things" don't get in the way?

We holding a community CPR / First Aid course tomorrow morning at the volunteer FD.

Everyone have a great Friday and excellent weekend.

Prayers to all.

Ron;
don't hold your breath on the chain saw report. First there is 3 cord of wood in the way and then 60' of snow 4' deep to get out of the way. It may be as late as May before the tree gets cut up.

prayers for your Aunt Ron. Hoping for positive outcomes.

Slept well last night, thankfully, very sore hands and wrists this morning and likely will be wearing wrist
wraps for awhile. Anyone who has had carpal tunnel, basically that feeling from elbow down. Getting old...

Bird, hope your eye appt went well.

I cannot tell a lie...those rows were first done by my neighbor, this time I just followed the path, keeping the hood ornament of the tractor aimed down the center of the row. Learned my lesson last year about not trying to look around while moving, always veers the row off to the right. Now I just stop totally, and look around. After doing that a few times, and everything looked ok, then just kept at it. One more pass this afternoon before rain comes, pretty grey out now.

If I wasn't bringing some American Legion red poppies I grew to the garden club, I would have passed on this morning's meeting, too much going on, but I'm stuck...so it's clean clothes this morning.

eating more fish to be healthy? Seems almost one out of four fish products are mislabeled and are some other fish.
Clearly this needs more FDA attention.

tested more than 400 samples from markets, stores and restaurants in 24 states and Washington. DNA tests showed that about 21% of it was not what it was called on the label or menu

I think one of the earliest examples of this was using a small round cookie cutter on skate wings to make fake scallops.

Drew, also check the sodium level in any canned fish, Tuna, sardines, salmon etc. WOW!!! I was giving gray2 some as treats till I checked the sodium content and I feel like I have abused the kitty. They do have salt free Tuna but it is about 4X the price if you can find it. Kyle could this be a source of your high blood pressure?

Good morning! 64˚F heading to the high 70's.
Yesterday I left the iPhone on the truck dash and got a high temperature warning and my phone would not turn on for an hour till it cooled down.

Prayers for your Aunt Ron. How old is she?

Rick have they eliminated the mouth-to-mouth part of CPR? Not because it's more effective but because that part was stopping people from starting CPR.

Good morning to all! Low down to 42, going up to 66, but going to be very windy. Worse than yesterday. We had gusts to 55 yesterday, today warnings up to 65+ !! REDICULOUS !! There were 'brown out' at times yesterday, can't wait to see what happens today.

Ron, prayers for your aunt. Hope she recovers quickly w/o any deficits.

David, hope the weather holds off and you can get more done between showers.

Don, it's nice there are 'recycling' projects and they make practical things from the tees. The greenhouse looks nice.

Everyone have a great day, prayers sent out for those needing.

33°F and light snow flurries this morning, going up to 46° today. Tomorrow should be a Deusey; high near 60° with potential for sever thunderstorms, hail, and possibly tornadoes. No mention yet of boils or locusts.

Not sure what the weekend holds yet. I guess it will be weather-dependent.

I heard that story about the fish issue yesterday and again today. Not surprised. Dishonesty seems perfectly acceptable these days. Cooked some breaded fish fillets for dinner last night anyway.

Yep you're right. Can't believe how many people I've heard say that they WOULD NOT perform rescue breathing.

It's pretty much just chest compressions with main focus on getting REAL MEDICAL HELP ASAP, if required.

You do want to listen for breathing before starting CPR.

I was always taught;

Check for breathing / heartbeat.
Begin chest compressions, 100/min. rate. (Think Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive")
2 rescue breaths to make chest rise. (if necessary).
Continue chest compressions.

If you're giving CPR ...... real help ... IS required regardless of CPR results.

To pass class you must "perfectly recite" the lyrics.

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk
Music loud and women warm, I've been kicked around
Since I was born
And now it's alright, it's okay
And you may look the other way
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive

It was 20° this morning. Yesterday turned out to be sunny all day and in the mid 30's. They are calling for more snow today with a high back in the 30's.

We had a nice lunch in town yesterday and did some shopping.

Don't have any plans for today.

Did get a latter from the county that told me I was on their list for jury duty for the next six months. Hopefully they won't need me, the county seat is only 50 miles away.

Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend.
CWB.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!

4ºF was todayç—´ low; 16ºF now: and temperature should rise to ~ 32ºF for todayç—´ high. It looks like snow to rain and back to snow event Saturday evening into Sunday; 1 - 3 of frontend snow anticipated. I do not anticipate daytime temperature to fall below freezing for the next 2 weeks nighttime lows will be in the 20ºF's; a couple of chances for some limited snow/rain showers as a couple of "dry" fronts move through during the week and a decent all rain event next weekend for southwest NE. Hopefully this will help melt the snowpack around here.

David- Thanks for sharing your projects. I enjoy those P3 photos of yours.

Don- You take active retirement to another level. You could put a lot of millennials to shame.;)

Bird- Good luck with the eye doc.

RonJH- I am sorry to read about your Aunt; it does not read well. I hope all goes well with your Wife's OT, and you have a successful shopping expedition and that your chicken soup and medicinal beverages cure that sore throat. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Drew- I am sorry to read about your carpal tunnel challenges; I hope you take the opportunity to rest the wrists and the rest of you this weekend. I know the CT feeling.:(. It does not help changing PTO driven attachments.:(

This fresh fish misrepresentation has been known for years. I do not know why it is now so newsworthy. I read the labels on all my grocery store food purchases. It helps me shop (and eat) smarter. I also read the label on Brogenç—´ dog foods and treats. A lot of those healthy, limited ingredient dog foods have very unhealthy tapioca and other sugars as major ingredients. There are reasons for pet diabetes. I will not buy Chinese made pet foods/treats under any circumstances.

"Dishonesty seems perfectly acceptable these days. Cooked some breaded fish fillets for dinner last night anyway".- Paul. One has to eat.

I hope everyone has a decent Friday and weekend.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

25 early, 47 now, off and on rain over the weekend. The all clubs breakfast where Ellen and I first got together is tomorrow, a year already, boy that went by fast.
I’m ready for some nice spring weather. This cold and often dreary weather is getting old.

Prayers for Ron’s aunt, Randy and all the rest.

My Aunt has been in hospital off and on the last week with a mini stroke and yesterday a seizure. She is youngest of 10 aunts and uncles on my mothers side. More like a sister than aunt to me. She sure can use some prayers.

Prayers for your aunt, and the two of you.

Don, I love fish. I love tuna, but only eat it maybe every 3 months. I don't add salt to almost anything. I buy the "low salt" chips.... My BP is much better, now that I'm back on my original medicine. I guess I'm "hooked" on it for life...

Got the kids to school, stopped at our Buccees gas station for low fat milk $2.99/gallon

I have a few of those PAJs (Piddly arse jobs) to do that I'm finding trouble getting motivated. I just got the first one done. master bathroom sink in not draining. Wow, a bit of long hair and a cup of gelatanous gunk. Had the wifey help me, mainly to see what happens when you let stuff go down the drain. Need a small DIY roto rooter to clear scum from pvc pipe walls.

Off to Hilo town with wife. Breakfast and errands.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Since buckeye has produce a more appropriate song I will be forever confused.
I would surely fail for going too slow like Michael.

I Will Survive

At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side
But then I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong
And I grew strong and I learned how to get along
And now you're back from outer space
I just walked in to find you here with that, that look upon your face
I should have changed that stupid lock
I should have made you leave your key
If I had known for just one second you'd be back to bother me
Go on now, go, walk out the door
Just turn around now 'cause you're not welcome anymore
Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye?
Did you think I'd crumble, did you think I'd lay down and die?
Oh, no, not I, I will survive
As long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive
I've got all my life to live and I've got all my love to give

Red Shouldered Hawk 1 Red Tree Rat 0. Little action at the bird feeders earlier today. The hawk buzzed the feeders and apparently snatched a squirrel from the pear tree. It happened really fast, but later I realized that there is one less birdseed/suet stealing rodents around.

It痴 nice to have the right equipment installing the new picnic benches and signs in rock on the new trail.

I'll bite. How long 'till you're checked out on the skid steer?:D

Shouldn't take you long to get the hang of it!
