It's my wife and I's 26th Wedding Anniversary today, going to take her out for supper. She a super lady as that's all I need to do, no need to buy presents.

Maybe you could buy her a tractor implement. You know, a special present?

Today's doctor visit went well, I was told that while I have a bone tumor on my ankle, there is no evidence of cancer. I was told monday by a orthopedic guy that I needed to see a bone oncologist. I haven't slept much since. Being told that you need to see a oncologist really clears the cobwebs out of your mind!!!

That must feel like dodging a bullet. Do you need to get follow-up treatment for that?

I Googled "benign bone tumor" but that is all I know about it, which is enough to be dangerous and ask stupid questions.

Irv, likely to be a benign growth but sorry you are worried. Perhaps a little medicinal sherry is in order...

nice storms headed our way:
At 519 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging
winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were located along a line
extending from Jim Thorpe to Mohnton... moving east at 30 mph.

So the storm is coming over the mountains and will give us a bath shortly.
And cool things off which will be just fine with me. It was sticky for sure today.

I'm at the airport trying to leave STL for now (I'll be back in a couple weeks I believe).
I've had one flight cancelled aleady, and the next one is delayed, plus not a non-stop so... yuck.

Best thing is I had a great phone call with MostlyGas last night (until my cell phone died) and he is a totally cool guy!

David, I know you can't stand being in the airport, but looking at the radar, well...., you likely don't want to be up flying in what is out there right now. It will blow through and you will come home with cold Canadian air pushing your jet home.
Preferably without the lightning and wind shear.

Heck, she's nice enough to warrant a tractor and an implement, perhaps a backhoe. I got my wife a wife a boat and motor for our anniversary one year (relax, I got her a real gift as well) and we still have a great laugh about it. None of us are going to live forever and a woman deserves a nice tractor.
