I noticed there was a small oil leak from my filler cap on the tiller yesterday. I will have a look at that this morning. I have to work every night from tonight until Tuesday. It will be good to make some hours. Everyone have a good day.

Beautiful day in Oklahoma. 85 heading for mid 90s. After a summer wondering if the rain would ever stop ... 3 dry weeks now, and wondering when the rain will return - lol.

Spent the morning clearing up the plot in our pasture where my wife buried her beloved Golden - Big Red. We call it Big Red Memorial Park Shortly after his burial, we planted 3 oak trees in a about a 50 foot triangle around his grave. We will use this space for all of our precious pets over time. The plan is to install a 5 ft cross and a nice bench. If we had our way - we'd have ourselves placed there as well.

This is the day the Lord hath made, rejoice and be glad in it!

Last time I was in Detroit proper, was around 2002-2003, had to detour off the interstate due to construction, the potholes looked like fox holes. Nearly beat the bottom out of my lowered '67 Impala SS!

That sure hasn't changed. Between the population loss for the state, and the reduction of miles driven by most folks, ( affecting the gas tax per gallon sold) the state spending on roads is the lowest in 30 years. The governor wanted to increase taxes to change that, but that failed. It isn't just Detroit, but roads all over the state suck. In our county, they have actually started to tear up old paved roads and return them to gravel. There is not enough money to redo the paving. It sure doesn't help get folks to stay here or locate to here.
