Ford 555d hydraulic line

I broke this fitting off. It is on the right side of the transmission I called the dealer about it and he said the trans would have to come out. He said the peice inside the fitting is broke. That I can get the old one out but won't be able to get the new one in. Does anybody know anything about it?

This after I got the fitting off. How does the other part come out of the trans.

Best bet is to get a look at a parts book.

I personally don't know, but if it is a "return" line, I don't see why you couldn't just straighten it out and re-weld it back on. I wouldn't think it has pressure on it, but I don't know.
