I have a tiller for a 425 but have never really used it. Do you think it is possible to convert it to a ditch filler????

Sure. Just replace the tines with left & right hand augers.

Why not just make a V shaped pusher blade and weld it to a QA plate. Shape the blade so it leaves a small mound over the trench. or leave the back of the V open for the hill effect. Could also have a wheel behind the V to compress the dirt into the trench

4 steps ahead of you. I have made that already as well as a flat angles one with a shoe and they work pretty well, except in S. Louisiana we have some soils that are very clay type and once the spoil sits exposed for more than a few hours it becomes hard. We use small cultivators to break it up buty its time consuming.

Can I buy just the auger spindles? Guess thats a Kieth question huh?

I don't know if Keith will be the best resource for that question. He knows his PT parts, but this is a little off the wall.

I've seen such augers in both agricultural and industrial settings. I'd start looking at agri-supply.com and mcmaster.com
