OK Dave,
Sorry if you feel that I offend you. That was not my intention /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
But I think anyway that you change horse for mule. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes, Agco IS heavier built, as you told, because it is 500 kg heavier. And on same frame it can be equipped with 85hp motor, run at lower speed (more torque - bigger gears). It has 10cm longer wheelbase, and much stronger planetary driven front axle than Kioti (bevel geared), especially for FEL use.

I haven't any Same or Agco stocks, just to clear bias to brand.

Yes, I like Same (or Lamborghini or Huerlimann) tractors, not because they are European build and I have one, than this is old factory who produce tractors for 80 years, and they have long experience in this task, compare to new brands, grown on MF or Kubota license. That doesn't mean bad, just lack of experience.

Just to clear you mind: Agco GT is tractor that is comparable to TN series from New Holland, and your Kioti is similar to larger Boomers, lets say TC55.

But, your money, your decision.

I'm not mechanic too, and farming is my second job (better to say hobby).
Maintaining and repairing is a hobby too, just like a farming.
I understand if you are not capable to repair by yourself, not all of my neighbours are.

ZJ_HR, I don't think it is a matter of offending him at all. If you look at some of his other posts you can find out a little more on the story. The dealer support was completely lacking. The dealer sold him Cat 1 implements for a Cat 2 hitch. Then when he discovered this they gave him a kit and told him to cut and modify his tractor. He wasn't able to get the tires he wanted so the dealer told him to shave the tires. If you look at his post you will find that out. Even if he did trade the a horse for a mule I think the horse would have needed to be shot because it was unable to work.

Grats on the new tractor and I like your 4 in 1.

Yes, I read this post, and posted something there too.
The dealer sold him Cat 1 implements for a Cat 2 hitch
So what??? I don't know where the problem is with Cat2 to Cat1?
I have 2 tractors, one with Cat1 balls, and one with Cat2. All implements what we have are Cat1. We use add on bushings on Cat1 pins. They are stored in bigger tractor toolbox. That's all. All attachments are full compatible and can be used on both tractors. If he wants Cat2, he can go to closest TSC and buy Cat2 implement pins, screw them on, and save lot of $$$$. I haven't anything against Kioti, but just don't understand why to loose lot of $$$ just because of unsufficient dealer? Maybe is way to shoot him, not a horse /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
A pro pos tires, for use shown on pictures, ag tires will be great too.

No offense taken. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We are getting way off topic.........I don't know if that is O.K. or not.

I bought a quick hitch. It was Category II. Cat I equipment sold to me was not wide enough to fit on hitch and the top link hook was nowhere near the top link pin hole of the CatI equipment I was sold. Bushings do not apply in this instance.

I asked for and received a CatI quick hitch. The Cat I hitch would not fit the Cat II lift arms or top link. Major modification by cutting, grinding or welding was required. Bushings did not apply in that case either. The selling dealer refused to help. Their suggestions to me bordered on malicious. You should not (in my opinion) grind up a tractor or shave perfectly good tires. It also doesn't matter if Ag tires would work for me.....If the customer wants R4 and the deal is made with R4 then that is what the customer should get. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Off my soapbox now!

My mule now has saddle and tack that fit as opposed to my former horse with stumpy shaved legs and ground down tail. Gee! Haw!

Best Regards, Dave /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ok Dave, I didn't know that dealer screwed you that way /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif .
So, if he couldn't get his promise, he need to give you money back and not make fool from you. But, it seems that money change people. And because of him, you lost money and confidence to brand. Sad story for me, and my apologize as I didn't understand your previous post well.

ZJ,

Thanks! I'm glad you understand.

The AGCO was a great tractor. I really liked it. I asked the dealer for another tractor, my old tractor(Massey 240S) back or money back. The manager said no and the owner would not return my calls or see me when I went to his office. I was so tired of trying to work with the AGCO dealer that I found it easier and much less stressful to just trade the new AGCO on another tractor at another dealer.

Now, back to having fun with the new KIOTI. More action shots coming soon! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
