Bring it on..... yesterday I was embarrassed, especially after my rant and seeing that I retired from the Manufacturing Engineering Section and I am smarter then that.....uh-huh ...right. :crossfingers:

Today.... I'm with all of you getting a hoot out of this. You know the scary thing about this.... I VOTE!!:melodramatic:

Sounds like everyone is laughing with you, not at you. I rather read this kind of stuff better then a broken tractor story and no money to fix it.
When I use my tractor, I have to say to myself what I'm doing so I know what I'm doing, like I when I want to engage the PTO, I say engage>, brake on, bucket down, in neutral, etc......my young son in-law was out at my house last year when I working my tractor, at super time he started asking why I was saying things like , engage.....I told him that's how things work in my world and forgot to have my memory pill prescription refilled.

OK, I will fess up... I chuckled a little bit... but I didn't want to hurt anyones feelers. It's all good. We have ALL done some stupid things.

In my younger years I came home late one night after excessive partying . Next morning I couldn 't find my wallet . After looking for an hour, I decided I left it where the partying was and began to make breakfast . Opened the frig and yep, there it was . To this day I don 't remember putting it there or why .

The world is much safer now as I 've quit doin' that excessive partying away from home .

This is a great thread! When trying to back up in my old truck, I have repeatedly checked my mirrors then put the left turn signal on and wondered why I wasn't moving backwards! (darn shuttle shifts!)

Those of us with HST stomp the floorboards with our heels and wonder why the truck won't move. Now i have the 2 pedal with the Kioti, and keep looking for that second go pedal to go to reverse.

I just did that today! The Kubota has a treadle pedal. The Ecoboost does not.

That part about not using the diff lock when making a turn goes double for me. When my previously owned MF got to my house the diff lock was stuck, ON. The front tires were filled with foam and the tread nearly came off both of them as I tried to turn. I didn't notice this problem on the test drive but suspect it was long standing. Some "gentle" persusion with a big hammer and a length of angle iron got it unstuck enough that I can now pull it up by hand. It's gotten me out of more mud than I want to think about. I replaced both front tires.
