Those of us with HST stomp the floorboards with our heels and wonder why the truck won't move. Now i have the 2 pedal with the Kioti, and keep looking for that second go pedal to go to reverse.

I have stepped on the "clutch" a few times with an automatic transmission. Suddenly remember this is not my truck.

Thanks for the chuckle...been there and done that. At least you have not hit your barn door with the ROPS even after saying to yourself before starting the tractor you needed to raise it:eek: I missed clearing it by that much.:mur: Took me 4 hours of prying and bending to get it back and re setting the side cables back in the pulley. PS do not, do not release both side cables at the same time without the door fully raised:eek::confused2::ashamed::shocked: I was very lucky it jammed after a few inches in the track.

Lift chain is now painted with a bright strip to remind me its high enough

I've not done that yet ... But..... going from a non ROPS tractor (Case 416) to a BX2230 with a ROPS, cutting under my trees was interesting to say the least. Several times when the Kubota & I were trying to become friends, whenever I ducked to avoid a branch like I'd done for 20 some years prior on my beloved Case, the ROPS wasn't paying attention (probably checking out the new landscape instead), and.......
Those are stories for another time. I'm still trying to redeem my good name from the DL incident.

In my younger years I came home late one night after excessive partying . Next morning I couldn 't find my wallet . After looking for an hour, I decided I left it where the partying was and began to make breakfast . Opened the frig and yep, there it was . To this day I don 't remember putting it there or why .

The world is much safer now as I 've quit doin' that excessive partying away from home .

Reminds me of our good 'ol boy neighbor who was brought home from a Friday night party by friends, came to the next afternoon and had no idea where he had left his pickup the night before. When Monday rolled around there was still no truck and he had to borrow wifey's car to go to work... I can just picture how that went down. Took a few days of phone calls and searching before they found the truck parked out in the woods at a buddy's place. He never did figure out exactly how it got there. The neighbor is old enough to have grandkids now, but I could easily see him doing something equally brilliant today.
