Barlows Delivered and it's a BRUTE

Took delivery of my L48TLB from Barlow Equipment up here in Wyoming !!

I cannot recomment Barlow any higher !! It was an excellent experience dealing with Brady and Steve. Donnie did a heck of a job upon delivery and I'm a very happy camper. Even if you are an out of state buyer give these guys a shot at your business. They go out of there way to get a happy customer !!:thumbsup:

Shucks, forgot to thank everybody on here for the wealth of information, i looked at a lot of tractors all over and had no problems making a deal with Barlows Equipment.

She is a used unit with 389 hours, Steve Barlow also sold me a Long Grapple and front blade, a taylorway 7' mower and a 7' black blade also a taylorway.

Yea I saw the posts about the tranny and mowing, it was not a problem for me, the grapple handles everything i want it to and Steve equiped the front end for quick release and put me on a brand new loader bucket for no extra cash. Also a great deal on the delivery, it was not just dropped off... Donnie took the time to go over just about everything with me.....now to work !!

Congratulations! Looks like you can tackle some major jobs with that tractor.
I've bought 11 from Barlows and they are great to work with. I drive by their lot two to three times a week going to work and some say that's why I buy so many from them. Next week the bypass is supposed to open so I'll be bypassing them except when I make a specific run to their lot. Well, I may drive by every so often to see the sea of Orange.:laughing:

I looked at that very same L48TLB. In fact, I had narrowed our choices down to that very rig on Bbarlow's website or the L5740HST and package of implements that we bought from a private seller. I really wanted the backhoe, but chose on the merits of what I saw in the package we bought.

I saw that you just posted on the thread I posted about our "Arrived -- L5740..." and then noticed this thread about your L48TLB.

Congratulations! That L48TLB is an awesome piece of equipment.

Thanks, I've got everything I need now, at least my wife says so :confused2:
After trying out the backhoe I'm happy I did it. I've got 160 acres to thin, cut, grapple, mow, dig and a lot of snow in the winter. I don't thing that hoe had been off the L48 since new. Barlows really did good work I am the 2nd owner sinced new, they did full service on the unit and could not have treated me better. I did go look at it before purchase. Good luck with your rig !!!

Very fine machine!!!! It is not uncommon for the Kubota commercial TLB's to live life without the backhoe ever being removed. It would be a good time to spray some penetrating oil on the connection points to ease the first removal. When you remove the backhoe the first time be sure and pick some level ground. It makes reinstalling much easier. I have a B21 and L39, you will be surprised how easy it is to remove and replace the backhoe after the first couple of times.

How is the L48 working out for the different tasks you've put it to?

Sorry, been away from site. My L48 is doing everything I ask, very happy with the backhoe i was amazed at the size of the stumps i could work with. I wouls not trade the grapple for anything. only concern is that the 7' bushog might be a bit much for the machine. It works well but the machine really warms up if temps are high. Brady Barlow is a man of his word and it was a very good experience dealing with them.
