Here was my little fox squirrel that I rehabbed last spring, his name is Scratch. I planned on keeping him but he found some other squirrels around the house and left. I only had him for 6 months, but he was my favorite critter that I've raised. He was a riot! Always gettin into something he shouldn't, chewing the keys off the laptop, he had a one of a kind personality. Got him before his eyes were open and fed him with a syringe and puppy milk replacer for over a month. He'd play with the Pyrenees, that's a funny sight watching a 100 pound dog and a 2 pound squirrel get along. I hope I come across another that needs raised, because I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

A couple of the kittens. And a last look at this year's flowers. Frost tonight.

Speaking of critters captured on film...

Do the folks that actually believe in "bigfoot" not think that with all the (tens of thousands) game cameras set up over feeders, food plots etc...someone would have an real picture?...C'mon...!

Sure I do.

So who is the toughest one at the corn pile? It looks like Mr. Coon ask Mr. Buck to move on down the line.

Today was the first time I had sat in my shooting house in the late afternoon. I had forgot how the red birds flock to the corn when it gets almost dark. When I got in I looked through the game camera pictures to see if there were any of red birds. I found a few, as well as one of our orange cats checking for a little snack.

Here's another deer vs coon skirmish.

That is more what I expected to see. The deer in my pictures is young and dumb. He is the only buck still coming to the corn, and he is doing it in the daylight. All the others stopped as soon as bow season started.

I hadn't looked at the game camera pictures for a few days. Went through four or five days' worth tonight. That was about 2700 pictures. The spikes are really growing, and I spotted this stubby 8 point that I hadn't seen before. The 7 point from the earlier pictures is coming to the corn in the daylight. I doubt he will die of old age.

I'll add mine. This is about 50 feet from the house. Picture is a capture from video so is not real clear.

Midas and Mocha were enjoying the nice weather this afternoon. It was short lived. The rain has started now, and the cold is right behind it.

Ain't no critter but we just hauled this bass out of canal that runs through property. We got a cold front heading in an seems like we always almost every year tend to catch a good size bass rite before it. I'd say it weighs close to 7 lb.s caught by good friend of the family's on a 7 1/2" Culprit worm. Though pretty rare we have caught em 8-9 lbs easily in past.
A ton of black bears down here in sw Fla also been trying to get a pic of one to post it when I can.

Man that makes me want to go fishing. But I'll wait until this cold has gone back where it came from.

Saw a bunch of seagulls diving over our creek this morning around 8am (was about 10F outside) -- they must have been after baitfish being scared up by something bigger. Then I saw a bald eagle swoop in, dive, and come up with a big fish! By the time I got outside with my camera, he was long gone, but another adult and 3-4 juvenile bald eagles hung around for a while. Morning light wasn't the best, but I got a few shots:

Fox, fox tail.

The other camera takes better pictures, but I haven't looked through them yet. {I have to get ready for work, and Margie has looked at part of them. She told me to look at these two} If there are better pictures I will post them later.
