Second day of rain here in East TX and the high temp is expected to hit 40. I'll keep busy working on some shelves for a client, but two days of rain is about all I can stand for being indoors. Sometimes I'd rather be at work then inside the house for an entire day. I don't know how you guys do it where it gets really cold.

i agree mid 30 and rain is my least favorite. did almost nothing today and tomorrow is supposed to be similar. i can deal with the snow i enjoy it, but don't like the cold mud season

Terry, I agree with ya... rainy and 30's is the hardest to deal with... in meny ways.

Been rebuilding a psd at work... posted a few pictures in the fabrication forum under welding projects on the .org if ya wanna see.

Got a bit of snow here... 6-7", enough to need plowin... and not bitter cold like last week.

it's fine put the bucket on for ll the snow we're supposed to get take it off cause there's no real snow. recently it's just been used as a forklift at the shop. when the ground either freezes up or dries out it will go out to dad's project property and be put back into service.

i will go check it out.

This morning a weather guy showed a map of 60% of the U.S. (& most of Canada, of course) covered with snow. That has gotta be some kind of record.

And once there is snow, it is a near perfect solar reflector so it takes that much longer for spring to come.

Up here, we have already had 50% more nights below zero (degrees F) than average.

They are saying it is the coldest winter so far in 65 years in our city. Some low income people may have a special assistance to pay for the additional heating bill.
