BX 2680 Throttle

Hi all,

Just curious, anyone else have a throttle lever from **** on the new 80 series BX's?
I mean really, it should not be that hard to operate the throttle. Mine is so hard, I feel
like i'm going to break it off...

Slide the screen back and loosen the nut at the bottom of the lever shaft 1/3 turn.

This is little bit old of a thread but I will comment on what recently happened to me. Mine worked its way loose and the bottom nut spun right off. Replaced it with a nylock nut, much easier to get tension you like without worry it will loosen itself. Not sure why they wouldn't do that in the first place.

My 2370 has the same problem and I may try that too.
A few nuts on the hydraulic control linkages have been changed for the same reason after we experienced slow bucket problems, there were a couple that had come loose, nylocks fix a lot of problems.

Any chance you remember the thread size? I don't have any metric nylocks lying around, so I'll need to buy one.

M8, Standard thread pitch (if its not labeled with a pitch then its standard, if it has a label I think 1.25 is considered standard.) I got mine at a local hardware store.
