My tractor seat belt almost cuts my gut in half when going downhill. Tightens up too much to turn around enough for backing the bush hog up over stuff. Have to remove it to get enough around to see behind.

Anyone have a solution to these problems? Maybe a bigger, more cushioned something that would slip over the extended seat belt?

Check with your local ATV shop. My side by side has a shoulder pad, maybe you could put the shoulder pad on the lap part of the belt.

You could get a non ratcheting seat belt whose manual adjust won't self tighten. There's lots of belts available on line from places like seatbeltsplus

Hmm. I've a pad on the shoulder belt part of the Tacoma's seat belt. Might try that.

I also ordered a manual tightening belt from Seat Belts Plus to replace the gut killer seat belt on my Kubota. Easy to swap out, quick release buckle and easily adjustable.
