Anyone here ever modify their ATV throttle to allow steady speed without having to keep thumb in one continuous position?

How about experience with one of these? www2.northerntool.com/product/200147574_200147574.htm

Or maybe converting thumb style throttle to twist throttle?

I'm looking for the best solution for ease in maintaining speed on atv while pulling a mower behind it or spraying with a boom.

Thanks

I have that exact Thumb-assist Pro on my Kawa 360, and it's great. It allows me to keep the throttle steady using my palm or the base of my thumb. No soreness required!

I couldn't imagine putting any significant hours on an ATV without it.

I've become accustomed to the stock throttle... However, I've heard that throttle extention is worth its weight in gold.. As for the grip style throttle like a motorcycle, I've been told by several, that they make it very uncontrolable.. Aparently, the riding position and style of an ATV are different enough from a cycle that you wouldnt be able to hold a steady throttle, making the issue much worse.. No practical experience here, but it made sense to me and I'm going to add the extention to my sons bike..
