He set anchors in the concrete yesterday, so he didn’t have to drill today. They did cut the concrete in the center lengthwise and two cuts to split it into thirds. Four walls up, electric, water, sewer, and gas line run!

Man this is happening fast for you:thumbsup: Looks great. They'll probably sheath the walls after they plumb everything then set the trusses. 14' walls need sheathing first.

Yeh I have no idea the order things will go. Two bundles of plywood sheets and trusses are on location. Pretty good chance of rain this eve, and tomorrow, so progress may come to a halt tomorrow.

Sure is nice seeing how good of a job that they are doing. Something that I've always felt was a good indicator of a good contractor over one in over his head is how clean they keep their working area. Some jobs you can't walk anywhere without having to step over debris, or the garbage pile is overwhelming.

It is going to be a stick built building. Spray foam insulation on the walls, and blow in insulation in the ceiling. It will have a metal panel ceiling, and we are still working on what the walls will be. Builder wants to do metal panel walls, and we want OSB walls. I think it will help absorb the noise. Builder is super particular about his buildings and hates the look of OSB. So far we have "maybe" decided on plywood stood on end so that it was 8ft high, and then metal liner from there on up.

That's almost identical to my shop except I used fiberglass batts in the walls and the walls are 3/4" plywood around the bottom eight feet with steel paneling above that.

The nice thing about 3/4" plywood is it adds a great deal of strength to the structure and it also makes a very tough and durable wall that's very resistant to damage with the benefit of anything is easily and very securely fastened to it anywheres.
