We just picked up our new Outlander Max 6x6 which is a BRP or Can-am product equipped with a 1000 V-2 at 90 degrees 4 valve per cylinder engine and putting out 82hp (abouts) I'm not a sport guy but use it for work.

When operating in snow, 82 will not be much extra HP. Our Polaris Boss had something like 55 and it wasn't enought while towing implements in deep snow.

I think my Grizzly 600 is les than 40, I always thought it was fairly powerful, but a big snow to us is 4”-6“ I have never experienced tracks, I guess it takes quite a bit of power to turn those. looking foreword to seeing it in action.

Is the installation pretty much like mounting wheels and connecting an anti-rotation devise?

We are out camping and using the outlander but have a very poor connection here. Will respond when we get home.

Somehow, you still manage to fill up the box :)

Let me add that our last machine, the Polaris boss with its 55hp engine was way extra HP for all its operations, until you got pods on it and put it in snow. So for 95% of its users that HP is more than enought.

So far we only got like 1 mile on it so not much use, but we will give a comparison to the Polaris boss after we get more serious time on it. It is quite different and the largest difference is it's power assist steering which is quite nice.

No, its not that easy. The rear drive sprokets have force on them so you need to open them to get them on the machines axles. Taking them off is easier.

We thought it was strange that the tailgate had no cables on it, to hold it horizontal when open.... Emailed our dealership who said they are not available. Will find some and get them installed and it seems there are mountings for them already.
