20 inch chainsaw recommendation

I’ve had good luck with the Kobalt 80V chainsaw. It’s technically an 18-inch bar, but it cuts like a beast—plenty of power for most jobs around the yard. Super easy to use and low maintenance. If you’re not set on gas, definitely consider it. Kobalt makes solid, reliable tools.

Never be an electric powered saw on this farm except for maybe a small limbing saw. Just not into the green crap.

I thought the same thing until I ran a neighbors 80 volt Kobalt. I'll keep my big Echo for felling and bucking the big stuff. The Kobalt can handle 80% of what I do around the farm.

I do have an electric saw, A Bauer 20 volt with a 15" bar actually, but that is it. I does okay and I have a tom of Bauer batteries as well as tools.

My little Echo 2511T weighs so little and is such a screamer, you have no desire for an electric saw. There is no stopping and recharging, just fill up and get back to work. I will never own another electric saw again.
