Just found out last night my Dad is coming up for a visit about the middle of December, I hope to have the tractor usable by then.

Thats an excellent way to set a timetable on this. Does he know that you have started working on it? Or will it be a surprise?

He knows I have been sending him pictures, but he will get to ride it if I can get it ready

So, what is your list?

What's done?
What's left to do?

I have the rear tires at the tire shop so I am waiting on them and when I get them on I'll be putting it on the lift and changing all the fluids. It will be ready for him to ride if he can get on it he is 84 years young and not as good as he once was.

Been Done: Radiator flush and fill, new front tires, home made grill that helped line the hood back up, new fuel filter, air filter

This is closing the barn door after the horse is out, but you should have painted the wheels before the new tires went on. Project is coming along nicely though.
