Unless mistaken, I believe that new 110 TLBs are still being produced with Yanmar 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engines. Does anyone have comments or insight as to why JD maintains the use of this engine on a substantially heavier machine, yet has switched to PowerTech turbocharged engines that produce increased HP on most of their 4000 Twenty series tractors? Has anyone heard of any possibilities of JD going to a larger HP (and/or turbocharged engine) on the 110? Thank you.

If you look under the hood you will see that there is no room for a larger engine with a turbo. They would have to redisgn the engine bay/make it larger to get it under the hood. They are limited production compared to the green painted ones and so there is not as much push to make them meet the newer emissions.

I have been looking into buying a 110 now for about 6 months. It would certainly help push me to make a decision if they could add about 10hp.

Also, does anyone have any experiences to share about purchase prices. I have been quoted in the neighborhood of 12% off retail on an order totaling upwards of $75,000

Thanks,
Ben

Hey Guys

New to the forum just tonight. Lots of wonderful information here... thank you!

Wondering about a few things... i am a first time tractor buyer and have narrowed it down to either the L39TLB from Kubota or the JD 110TLB... but, think I like the HST more.

However, I have been pricing a few dealers for the TLB... and most seem kinda high... the Kubota seem to range between $33.5K and $38K ... a big difference!

But a recent post here claimed a purchase price for a loaded JOhn Deere 110tlb for $38.5 seemed very fair.... where can I find this price??

Can you help me on how to find a decent price?? Am willing to drive for delivery... in fact I recently drove to TN to purchase an ATV and cargo trailer... I saved 5K doing this...

I'd really like to have the JD 110 - but, locally the dealers are pushing it beyond my reach.

So, any help would be appreciated... don't want to feel taken after the purchase... like after I bought my last car.

Thank you & Happy Holidays
Charlie

hi charlie, Just wanted to let you know that JD dealers in central PA are advertising 110 tlb for 34,999.00. These are a group of different dealers selling as a group called Maple Mountain. That price included loader and backhoe buckets. The printed advertisements are at the dealers and are sometimes mailed and inserted in newspapers. Mike

Where are you located? My dealer has a new one on the lot for less than $37K

Very nice machine. I wish I could afford it.
