Update on my tractor. The dealership has been able to duplicate the noise several times. All their testing shows the next step is to split the tractor and check inside. Dealer has a few big jobs a head of me still so 2-3 weeks till it's split and we'll go from there.

Does yours have a standard 16 pin OBD2 connector under the column shrouds? My MT240 does and a cheap code reader for a car works great for reading/clearing codes. Has a lot of pids in the live data menu too.

The engine manual recommends 10w30. I run the Rotella T5 10w30 in mine. We where having some Regen too frequent problems in a few trucks and found they where running 15w40 when the engines where supposed to have 10w30. Fixed those trucks. I doubt it's your issue but might be worth a shot...

Problem with the xr3135 is it is the same size as a MT240 with 5 less pto hp. Also seems like the op may not need the remotes. If he does they can be added on. I paid under 600 for the dual remote kit for my MT240. HP is not something you can add on to these real easy if you find you need more.

If you plan to sell it, Kubota. Nothing wrong with the LS at all but in your situation you need to think of resale value. Kubota has that. I own a LS and am very impressed. I prefer the dual pedal hst too!

The brake and clutch master cylinders are all the same. I replaced all three when I had one go bad. Make sure all your bleeders are free too. I did mine through the hood. I took the hood off and the plastic cover off the back of the engine to access them. Lots of room then.

That's who I bought my LS tractor from. Great people. They haven't stocked a Zetor since the company privatized. They sold a lot of them though. Walked through their service department once and they had a few Zetors in there I wanted to take home with me!

Super easy. You can either unbolt the pedal assembly and pull the whole pedal/master cylinder out and then replace the m/c or you can go in under the hood and unbolt the m/c that way.

Yup, every one of us that has had a Zetor for a period of time has had to replace master cylinders for the clutch and brakes! Very common. Just replace the master cylinder and bleed it out. Replacing the brake fluid every year really helps the hydraulic components last longer too.

If your implements are quick hitch adaptable get yourself a speeco e-hitch. It's a quick hitch that does not use the bushings for the lower pins. I can put that 6' cutter on the tractor in under a minute If the pto shaft cooperates!

You need a service manual! Here is how and what you need to properly hook up the loader valve hydraulically to the tractor. The first page is for hydraulic pumps in the transmission case and the second page is for the externally mounted pumps on the engine.

The teeth on the blade shaft gear are damaged from your picture. It's new gear box time. Good news is they are cheap on ebay. Around 160 bucks shipped. The 40hp boxes on most light duty cutters are all the same. Remove the stump jumper and count the splines. I bet there is 12 splines.

You really need a service manual. Don't go chasing a problem that does not exist. Are your new Holland's the same transmission as the Kubota? You will not have any black smoke out of the exhaust on the Kubota due to the DPF catching all the soot.

I have a BB84 and it will leave clumps if the rear plate it installed on the back. Same with my landpride RCR1872. The cutter can't discharge the material fast enough so it balls it up and spits it out in clumps. Remove the plate and you should have the result you are looking for.

Hydro filter base is the culprit. You will find rust on the poppet valves in it.

I use the Mobil utf at tractor supply. Rated GL4. My dealer told me to just look for JD J20C spec. Through my research all the fluids I found J20C spec where also GL4 spec.

Your lift piston probably has no seals left on it. They have an updated piston that uses a Teflon seal instead of the original rubber and iron ring. Here is mine as I removed it from the tractor.. You can see there is no longer any rubber seals on the original piston.

I use American Sleeve Bearing in CT. They made the diff bearings for my VAC. They where super easy to deal with and helpfull.

Screwed in fitting is 46. Welded bung cylinder uses no fitting like below. 41 is the hose directly bolted to the cylinder

Does the hose that goes to the end of the cylinder housing screw directly to a welded bung or a screwed in fitting? If it is the welded bung then a 938303 seal kit should cover you. If it has the screwed in fitting then 938302 is your guy.

Made my own third function using one of my remotes for the circuits. It works extremely well. Built the brackets for the hoses to make it look as factory as possible.

Yes, the Tedder fluffs the hay and helps really speed the drying process. We use a NH 472 mower/conditioner. That hay was cut and baled in 24 hours. Had a high chance of rain catch up to us. Luckily we got it all up before the storm. Hay was about 95% dry when we baled it.
