I have a diesel Grasshopper ZT that is mostly trouble free. My biggest complaint is that the hydraulic filter vibrates loose and starts to drip. If I tighten it every 20 or so hours I have no problems. It's 20 years old and still runs like a top. Has a Kubota engine.

you can have a small air leak with no visible fluid. Just because its new doesn't mean you don't have a loose connection somewhere. Happens all the time, won't hurt to check

I think in TN you need to have a tax card from the state to put it in containers/tanks. At least that's what I am figuring out. My coop sells red diesel with the tax applied unless you have the card.

It's an Antonio Carraro ttr7600. I got it for mowing my hills, it sticks to the ground like glue. I was too scared to mow these areas with my Branson. I did it once and that was enough, felt like I was going to tip over.

when it comes to additives, people have to realize there are additives in the fuel from the terminal. Lubricity, anti gel, Cetane, rust inhibitors etc. The oil companies don't want a bunch of toasted injection pumps to be blamed on their fuel. This is from Exxon but I think all fuel in the USA...

Well it's cheaper because its smaller and treats fewer gallons. I used a tiny portion of the above for 10 gallons, instructions state .25-.50 oz for 50 gallons. So each bottle has the potential for 400-800 gallons :)

Only problem I have with polyurea is that it is incompatible with so many other greases. So it could lead to problems if you are not careful

I use Schaeffer's 219 on almost everything I own. Been very happy with it. I have a few items that take special grease that cost 125 dollars a tube (ouch) but otherwise the 219 goes everywhere.

Ok so it's the hydraulic motor on the implement side that determines the rpm, correct? I calculated the hp on the 1845 pto to be ~26. Does that seem right?

VOA cannot tell the whole picture. Non metallic additives for example do not show up in a VOA. VOA also will not tell you the group number of the base, etc.

Filter has slightly over 10k miles on a powerstroke 6.7. Filter had no tears in media and looked clean of larger debris. It was IMO well built. Large spring in the bottom of the can, wire backed media and pliable adbv.
