Branson brand to be discontinued?

Me too, but if Branson goes away I'll still be happy with mine. Little worried about parts but hopefully I won't need anything major.

No troll here, I have nothing against TYM or Branson.

The TYM name is coming for the Branson line, and the Kukje diesel will be in all of them... I'm betting one tractor will be made out of the two, and that's probably a good thing.

Maybe not a fair comparison but I remember similar comments when Case and International Harvester merged. Several people said that was the end and in a few years they will go under. That was in the 80’s and the brand is still going. And there are quite a few of both Case and IH still going strong.

I will answer the questions for you. No, we will not be crying crocodile tears over a name. Anyone who would or anyone who would ask such a ridiculous question should probably quit doing anything with equipment. At some point, the lack of brains is going to get them hurt. However, that is just my opinion. Good luck with whatever it is you are after.

See it all the time with tractor fanboys on TBN, yes even some Branson fanboys.

I remember waaaay back when I said TYM was going to buy Branson, OMG you would think I slapped someone's mother!!! And I was treated accordantly, then how about when I said the Branson diesel was a Cummins in name only? (and it is) Same thing, I got drug over the coals by the Branson crowd, and you'd think this time I kicked someone's dog!!

And I'm betting I'll be right about the name change too... SO, is it a big stretch to think there's going to be some crock tears falling when the Branson name goes away???

AND I'd be willing to bet that it IS going away too.
