Wondering where the best place to list this machine is? I thought this forum had a classified section as I was going to list it here first.

So when you split it, what else should be done? Clutch, throw-out bearing, etc? In a boat when you pull the tranny, you usually do the damper plate cause of the PITA to do it again!

@MHarryE what was the overall process for that? What was the shop bill, or did you do it yourself?

My stuff is pinned. My thumb is mechanical. Not nearly as cool as a real thumb. If I were doing demo every day, I would invest in a true thumb.

Let Ted know I am only talking about a 12" piece at the bottom of the rear. Something that would follow the contour of the grapple to "turn things up", but I agree, it could contain corrosive dirt.

Anything is possible with the right amount of cash and tenacity. The exhaust system would need some work I would think, have to hang the turbo off the muffler connection?. The muffler and bolts need to be able to handle the extra weight, or build exhaust support, etc. Then pipe the muffler off...

Space would be the first thing to look at. You have to pull off the exhaust, and all oil and cooling lines. I agree, seems like a lot of work and lots of research, custom brackets maybe, charge air tubes, etc. If it is a mechanical unit, mucking with the timing may require injector pump work...
